I have read the other reviews and Im wondering if they're seeing the same dentist that I do. My experience with Howard has been nothing less than friendly and professional.Ive had multiple procedures done and all have been pain and trouble free.He always follows up with a call to check in on you and is reachable after hours..Contrary to whoever wrote those reviews, or what their agenda might be, my experience has been completely positive

I regret the day HOWARD W ROSA, DMD, Periodontist, came into my life. He is a dental patient’s worst nightmare. I was referred to HOWARD by HARVEY S ROSA, DMD, my childhood friend, family dentist and HOWARD W ROSA’S first cousin, for periodontal treatment. The referral, that took place in April 2007, was for periodontal preparation for the replacement of my 28 aging porcelain crowns to be provided by HARVEY S ROSA.
HOWARD W ROSA immediately eliminated HARVEY S ROSA from my dental team and replaced him with IRA W WENDROFF, the dentist down the hall. It is not conceivable that HARVEY would pleasantly acquiesce to HOWARD’S plan to eliminate him from making his $50,000.00 RESTORATION FEE. I was never made privy to the financial arrangement made between the two cousins – undoubtedly one existed.
By April 2008, HOWARD W ROSA unscrupulously rendered me TOOTHLESS; CAUSED AND THEN IGNORED HIS INFLICTION OF PERMANENT DAMAGE TO MY MENTAL NERVE; PERFORMED AND IGNORED INADEQUATE, INFECTED SINUS GRAFT LIFTS, which allowed him to place only six of the promised 10 IMPLANTS; CAUSED ME TO DEVELOP TMJ and ANGULAR CHEILITIS; neglected to send me for a DENTAL CAT SCAN; neglected to refer me to an ORAL MAXILLARY SURGEON; and then the arrogant Pilfering Periodontist SUED ME FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT.
As of April 2008 I paid HOWARD W ROSA $31,088.00 for his BLATANT DESTRUCTION OF MY ORAL CAVITY, and his cohort, IRA M WENDROFF, (who was not a Prosthodontist), $14,000.00 as a good faith deposit for the 28 “Hollywood White” PORCELAIN CROWNS (VALUE $50,000.00) he was not capable of providing due to the lack of and faulty IMPLANT PLACEMENT by HOWARD W ROSA. WENDROFF, who was merely ROSA’S milquetoast puppet, ALSO SUED ME FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT.
ROBERT J MILLER, DDS, removed the infected ALLOGRAFT MATERIAL that was free floating in my sinus cavities (2009) and then removed IMPLANT #28, the cause of my chronic discomfort (2010.) His fees: $11,030.00.
Caveat Emptor . . . Buyer Beware! It’s not only about buying cars!
Prior to employing the services of a dentists such as HOWARD W ROSA or IRA M WENDROFF, the public deserves to be educated about the shoddy dental care they too can fall victim to if they are not aware of the potential covert danger signs. I am in the process of developing a website whose purpose is to educate the public about the importance of a obtaining a second opinion, the significance of informed consent and the undeniable necessity of a clearly charted dental treatment plan.
ROSA’S desire to avoid disclosing the INNEFECTIVE, INFECTED SINUS GRAFT PROCEDURES he unsuccessfully performed and the DAMAGE he INFLICTED UPON MY MENTAL NERVE outweighed his concern for any treatment that may have proven to be beneficial for me, as his patient.
MY DECISION TO LEAVE THE (UN)CARE OF HOWARD W. ROSA, DMD and IRA M WENDROFF, DDS, after one TORTUROUS YEAR OF SHODDY TREATMENT.
• I was not satisfied with the quality of care provided by DR. WENDROFF, DR. ROSA and THEIR ASSISTANTS.
• My complaints regarding chronic discomfort on the lower right side of my mouth went unheeded.
• The excessive amount of time I was forced to wear the ill-fitting “custom temporary bridges,” was unconscionable.
• The “custom temporary bridges,” were in constant need of repair.
• The unsightly appearance of the “custom temporary bridges” for more than one year was embarrassing.
• IRA M WENDROFF’S inability to deliver the final product was not being addressed by DR. IRA WENDROFF or DR. HOWARD ROSA.
• I would later discover that DR. WENDROFF’S delay in providing my anticipated 28 “HOLLYWOOD WHITE” porcelain crowns was due to the faulty implant placements and failed sinus lift grafts performed by HOWARD W ROSA.
• DR. WENDROFF demanded more deposit money, for an unseen product, threatening not to continue with my case.
• DR. ROSA continuously promised to send me for a DENTAL SCAN-for a better view of his SINUS LIFT PROCEDURES – never addressing my chronic complaint of discomfort in the lower right side of my mouth, my development of TMJ and angular chelitus.
After twelve months of tolerating the charade of HOWARD W ROSA and IRA M WENDROFF as my dentists, who provided DESTRUCTION IN LIEU OF RESTORATION, PROCRASTINATION IN LIEU OF PRODUCTION, and DECEPTION IN LIEU OF HONESTY, my only option was to seek ASSISTANCE from HONORABLE dental practitioners. “HONORABLE dental practitioners,” CAVEAT EMPTOR! BUYER BEWARE!
Desperate to find relief from what developed into chronic discomfort and my unquestionable need to replace the unsightly, ill-fitting “custom temporary bridges” that WENDROFF had let remain in my mouth for more than one year, I returned to the dental office of my family dentist, HARVEY S ROSA in Aventura.
Much to my chagrin, I traveled deeper into MY JOURNEY THROUGH THE DESERT OF DENTAL DOOM and DEEPER INTO DENTAL DEBT.
