Read Reviews for Dr. Neal Lemmerman
He is on the top of my list for one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had in my life! For starters, he was ADAMANT that my periodontial disease was caused by diabetes if I didn't have sleep apnea and he was judging this "opinion" soley based on my weight. I do not have S-A, nor am I diabetic & he wouldn't believe me regardless of how insistant I was. I ended up having bloodwork done with my Dr. who was rather annoyed by Dr. L's "assumptions" since I just had a physical a few weeks earlier & we already knew I had neither. Dr. L ran all over the office, in & and out of the room, being vague with answers. He didn't take time to sit & talk, & left me with the impression that he could care less about me, and was not very confident in his own treatment plan & insinuating it wouldn't work anyway because of my "undiagnosed diabetes". Then his staff took X-rays with too large of cardboard & plastic bite guards that were gouging, scraping & cutting my gums until they bled and gagging me until I almost vomited. I sat at the office table in tears while his receptionist went over the treatment plan and cost with my husband. I cried all the way home then looked for another periodontist. I would NEVER recommend him! HE-WAS-HORRIBLE!!!

Incompetent staff... forgot to call/mail prescription in before my sons scheduled skin graft and therefore had to cancel my sons appt. the day of the surgery after pullinjg him out of school, taking the day off from work, etc.!
They never even said sorry or admitted fault.

Dr. Neal Lemmerman was extremely professional, courteous and displayed excellent chairside manner.
The city of Lexington will be sad to lose him to neighboring Cincinnati but wishes him and his family the best of luck.
