Dr shoicket is nice enough, but he's got an uncomfortable air about him. He seems to not treat his help well. I get the distinct impression that if you show signs of weakness in your character he will recommend procedures which are borderline unnecessary. He's out for the almighty buck, that's smart, right?

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. HE IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I HAD THE MOST UNPLEASANT INTERACTION WITH ANY MEDICAL "PROFESSIONAL" IN MY LIFE.

I was referred to Dr. Schoicket for periodontal treatment,
During a very painful procedure I wasn't given a chance to take a break, or voice my questions or requests.
He has terrible chair-side manners and yelled at me and some of his staff.
I would recommend avoiding his practice at all cost!

I had 4 quandrants of periodontal surgery. he did a great job gettting thegums healtheir but he does not respond to a patients pain level. He refused to stop working gor even a minute to let you breathe. He has an awful bedside manner. He is diificult to talk to about anything. He rushes you and is arrogant. his office hours do not make it possible for a worker to get a n appointment with out taking off work( 10 to 4). Finally iuf yo have to cancel an appointment 24 hours in advance he charges yo a $65 penalty!!!
About Hygienist: Fine technically. But the are cowed by the master and reflect the fear he puts int them transferring his rudeness to patients.

Dr. Shoicket and his staff maintain a high standard of excellence. The care I've received for more than 20 years has been consistently the best. He has performed two gingivectomies and now I see him for routine scaling, cleaning, xrays and examination. He is friendly and very professional, answering questions clearly. I now live abroad but still have an annual appointment with him.
I have also received excellent and professional treatment from his hygienist Valentina who is very gentle and thorough.
I would highly recommend Dr Shoicket and his staff.

Dr. Shoicket has an excellent chairside manner and understands how stressful dental issues can be. I tend to be phobic about dentists and he was very calming. The care and service is excellent.
About Hygienist: The hygienist is fantastic. She is thorough, gentle, kind, and very good at keeping you calm.

He's very pleasant, but very concerned about payment. He will ask what insurance do you have before asking how you are feeling.
The receptionist is "fake" pleasant, until there is controversy or a problem, then she gets very abrasive and defensive.
The doctor does know his stuff and does great work, so I continue to go to him, but the customer service and bedside manner could be better.
