I think Dr. Apgar is wonderful. She has done my peridontal work for several years. In 2005 she did an implant for me. The first attempt failed. She did it again and it worked perfectly. She did not charge me at all for the second implant, even though I had signed a contract saying that it might fail and I would have to pay for the second try. She worked in conjunction with another dentist who did the crown, and he also did not charge me for the second try. I've now had the implant in my mouth for about two years and it's perfect. As to cost, implants are expensive, and I think her rates are average high for this area, but not surprising given her prime location.

I highly recommend Dr. Apgar and her staff. I don't know if I could have gotten through my pocket reduction surgery (including three extractions and bone grafting) without Dr. Apgar and her excellent staff. I am very anxious about dental work and Dr. Apgar spent a long time answering my questions and reassuring me. She and her staff comforted and relaxed me, even holding my hand when I needed it. The procedures were painless and the shots were the least painful I have ever received. If you need gum surgery, this is the place to be!
