I had an implant with a bone graft by Dr. Zakaria. He took care of me. He calm me down and did a wonderful job. I was told that I cannot have an implant because I had bone loss. His staffs were nice, helpful, and comforting. Dr. Zakaria called me in the evening to check on me. I never had a Doctor call me before. He is a nice caring gentleman. I recommend him.

Had full mouth reconstructed. And implants placed. Can finally function again thanks to Dr Zakaria. My work is between here and Japan and he saved the rest of my teeth. The best doctor.

My dentist set me up an emergency appointment to have Dr. Zakaria extract a tooth and consult for an implant. He saw on my medical questions that I have not been to a physician in years and smoke cigarettes. He was incredibly condescending and judgmental about those things and made me feel like I wasn't going to heal so there was no point in doing anything. He said it would require oral surgery and he could probably do it before the end of the day (said at 9:30am). He stared at me as if he couldn't understand how I can look at myself in the mirror and generally made me feel like crap. It was such a horrible experience I left the office and found someplace else to do the extraction (and they pulled the tooth out in one piece with no problem).
About Front Desk: The rest of the staff seemed like they were too good to be bothered with me, didn't say hello or even ask how I was feeling knowing it was an emergency appointment. They were disingenuous and borderline rude. My entire experience at this office was horribly unpleasant and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

Very good periodontist. I had visited a couple other periodontist including top-notch doctors in Birmingham before making the choice to have my front teeth implants done with Dr. Zakariya.
I was confident after thorough research that he was the right choice to reconstruct my front teeth with implants.

I had crown lengthing done by Dr. Zakaria and found him to be a very good doctor and a people person. His office was very nice and professional. I was given a video to watch before my apt in a seperate room so as to know what I was having done and understood it well. I was even called at home after the procedure to know how I was doing. Very caring doctor who took his time out to do that!!!
