One visit extracted the tooth and put in the implant. She had problems extracting the tooth. The implant was put and taken out multiple times and once she punctured the sinus cavity. The final location of it was too close to another tooth and there are ongoing issues.

I have been bounced around by periodontist that have sold their practices. My original periodontist recommended Dr. Cummings and I was very impressed with her office staff, hygienist and herself. They were very professional and knowledgable. She recommended things that no other periodontist did that I could do at home and after following her recommendations have seen an incredible improvenment. My last periodontist only wanted to do surgery but Dr. Cummings was optimistic that I could avoid this expense if I was willing to follow recommended instructions.
About Hygienist: Excellent hygienist. Very gentle, informative, eager to teach and I felt that I received a great cleaning.

Treatment was great, implant done very well, cost high, but what do you expect from a periodontist, school, office overhead, surgical tools, her cost to buy implants. If you have periodontal problems when you have your prophy done and with a deep scale, what do you expect, yes, some pain. You did not get this way over night.
Chair side manners and office staff was good.
Yes, I would recommend her to others.
Just remember you are the one that has to take good care of your teeth, she is only a helping hand.

Dr. Cummings was ok, but her staff was rude. Her hygentist was rough and unsympathetic
