Dr. Chong is always very friendly and thorough. I've only had regular dental cleanings (no special procedures, thank goodness) so I can't attest to his skill in doing those. I've had him do my cleanings as well as his hygienist. Both were very gentle and checked to make sure I was okay throughout the process. They're both also good at keeping a conversation going even when I can't really respond.
The thing that most stands out in my mind compared to my past dentist is that Dr. Chong has a great "high-tech" camera tool that can show you a magnified view of your teeth on a TV screen. He was able to show me how my back molars look and other Insurance covers regular cleanings so I don't really know how expensive it might be without it.
