Dr. Gomez watching TV while doing gum surgery!!!!!!!
In 2011. Dr. Cynthia R. Gomez told me I needed lazer gum surgery. They called my insurance and then told me the cost is $1,200 and my copayment is $300 with insurance paying the rest.
The surgery was two parts. After the first part, they asked me to pay the copayment which I did $300. One month later, I went back the office to do the second part of surgery. Immediately after the surgery while I was still in the office. They told me that my insurance company has refused to pay and said that now I owe them $2100.
During this surgery, there is a TV in the room. Dr. Cynthia R. Gomez was watching TV when she is doing surgery. Once, She drilled outside of lip. There is a cut outside of my mouth.
My insurance company said that Dr. Gomez made mistake that the surgery she did was not covered under my policy. Dr. Gomez office called me and gave me 25% discount if I paid the full money immediately which I did because they told me I still need the maintenance after the surgery otherwise my gum would get worse and maybe get infected .
In 2012, I sued her and I won the case.
In 2013, Another Periodontists told me the lazar gum surgery did not work at all. I need another surgery.
About Front Desk: The black girl Stacey do not know anything about Insurance. They told patient one price before treatment and another price after the treatment. I was cheated, pressured and manipulated into paying all this money. I can not believe people will do this type of scams to trick other people's money. I can not trust people any more. What a terrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr Gomez is so professional, kind and extremely competent. I've had periodontal surgery, implants and on-going periodontal cleanings. I am able to put total trust into her diagnoses and treatments. Dr Gomez de-stressed me about my implants and did a wonderful job; the implants feel totally natural and there was minimal discomfort. No one likes to pay for dental work but if you feel and look good afterward then you feel like you received good value! The office staff is knowledgeable and helpful with insurance and appointments. Appointments are on-time and I never feel rushed.The best reference I can give is that I now bring my wife and daughter (who needed extractions) to her. I feel fortunate to have such a terrific dentist and therefore give her a solid, highly-positive recommendation.

I came to her clinic for a laser surgery for my gums and she did amazingly well. She is very humorous and warm-hearted especially for elder patients. She knows every patients at heart and she treat them very well. Whenever I come to her clinic, it's like a personalized visit. She is also involved with different charity works that's what makes patients feel that they are in good hands. As a last word, she is very caring.
About Front Desk: Jennifer Cespedes is very warm both at phone and seeing at person. Appointments were done in minutes and answers all of my questions. She is also very informative of the practice.

About Hygienist: Marcela Morales, she is nice as well. She always makes sure that the cleaning was done well. She also cleans very thorough.

I saw her for a consult a couple of years ago. She launched into a diagnostic session where she laboriously examined my gums while she dictated her findings to a technician. She was incredibly rude & obnoxious to the technician. I was told she accepted insurance but was subsequently billed.

I've had gum surgery in the past and it was a nightmare. I went to Dr. Gomez knowing that I would need surgery again. She performed LANAP surgery and it was the best experience. Hardly any pain and recovery was quick. Now granted my insurance paid for most of it but if I had to pay out of pocket I would definitely go for it. Dr. Gomez made me feel comfortable during the procedure as well. She and her staff are awesome.

Dr. Gomez was so kind and sincere. I'm deathly afraid of dentists and she took her time and was very thorough with me in regards to what was the issue at hand was and how she was going to fix it. After the procedure was done (I had Laser gum surgery) she was kind and made sure I was feeling ok and assured me that I was a great patient and that things would get easier. She is very professional and I would definitely recommend other people with periodontal issues to seek her care
About Hygienist: The hygienist was a sweetheart! she was was caring and gentle. Everyone in the office is so nice and welcoming.

Dr. Gomez placed a dental implant in a way which rendered it nonrestorable. The implant had to be removed (I would say the most horrendous dental procedure I had ever experienced.) Not to mention the fact the implant she used was an old model of low quality (of course she placed that in my body with no informed consent).

I have been Cynthia's patient for 10 years and she not only nursed my teeth and gums but also my general health and well being.She shows a genuine interest in me and my family and she always remembers small details about my life that make me realize she is a complete healer.
I have been very satisfied with her treatment. It is painless and thorough, and her staff is very pleasant.
Her office comes with my highest recommendations

Both my husband and I had a deep cleaning done by Dr. Gomez. Not only was she rough - she didn't pay attention much as she watched TV while working. To make matters worse, she chipped my husband's crown. All this confirmed by our dentist and hygienist - neither of whom had recommended her in the first place - I took a chance, what a mistake and a huge waste of money that was. The job wasn't done properly or thoroughly. Our hygienist could not believe the condition she left us in. Horrible. Exactly the kind of ripoff doctor/dentist one is leery of when searching for treatment. Keep searching, Dr. Gomez is not the one you want to see. I am sorry I did and worse, had my husband also waste his time. Shameful.

Dr. Gomez performed a crown lengthening procedure for me. Her office was in a great location, her staff was very friendly, and I never had to wait too long. What I most appreciated was her extreme care in making sure I did not receive any infection after the procedure. On my first check-up after the surgery, she gave me a "stern" talking to about taking care of the area and keeping it clean. She then had me schedule another extra check up just to make sure the area would be fine before getting the crown. I think it was great she took the extra time with me! I would recommend her to anyone.
