Dr, Ficara has to be the best "mouth care" specialist I have ever gone to. I had advancing periodontal disease, I had been to another Peridontist who wanted to be conservative in his treatment. Dr. Ficara was very aggressive in the treatment of my disease and has just about reversed it. Along the way he discovered a few things the other perio had missed, like a molar that needed to be removed, a collapsed joint in my jaw (doesn't hurt) some bone loss that could be grafted with new. Very serious stuff to miss!!
After every procedure he gave me his home phone, cell phone and office phone number and told me to call if I had any questions, concerns, extreme pain etc. even on the weekend or at night!!
He is a kind and compassionate Dr. You would be hard pressed to find a better Periodontist!!
