I was referred to Dr. Gewant by my dentist to fix a receding gum. I was very nervous about periodontal surgery, but felt extremely comfortable once I arrived at the office. Dr. Gewant and his staff are kind and welcoming professionals that reassured my fears of the procedure. During my surgery visit, I was too busy watching television which completely took my mind off the procedure. I received detailed post-surgery directions, scheduled my follow-up and was so pleased to find my insurance covered the entire procedure. My follow-up was a success and I also feel that Dr. Gewant really takes his time to get to know his patients. I would gladly refer Dr. Gewant to family and friends.

Dr Gewant was recommended by my prostodontist Dr. Alan Sezer. I was quite stressed at the thought of having periodontal surgery again. My last experience years ago left me quite frightened but after my first surgery with Dr. Gewant I have absolutely no fear to have my second surgery. He is not just a good doctor but has a wonderful personality. He is calming and does all he can to minimize any discomfort you may have. I had absolutely no pain during or after my surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing periodontal surgery.
