Read Reviews for Dr. Stacey Blume
Money Hungry and incompetent shady financial business practices. I recently took my daughter to Stacey Blume DMD office for a consultation. They were booked a month out after the consultation, I paid the upfront consultation fee in full on the first day. I received an estimate upon leaving and was told that an insurance submission would be submitted. About 3 weeks later I received a letter stating that Stacey Blume DMD office did not submit claim correctly and they needed to resubmit. I called to notify them a week before my appointment. I was on the phone with them 48 hours prior to my daughters appointment and spoke with Katlin and Elizabeth stating that I did not have $2500 to pay in full. My insurance company approved $1400 of it, but they were still requesting the full $2500, still within the 48 hour time frame. Kaitlyn and Elizabeth both were assisting me with contacting the Insurance company within the 48 hours, no one ever considered telling me about the $150 cancellation fee. I would have cancelled on Tuesday when I first called and would not have had a cancellation fee. They didn't even reduce the total amount due by the $312.00 credit. I was told we just keep the credit on file for future visits. BE CAREFUL BEFORE PAY

I have had two procedures done with Dr. Blume, and the procedues themselves were almost stress-free. Using sedation was a good idea and her bedside manner is very good. The other workers there are very nice as well. Insurance help was not so great - my procedures ended up being covered, but it was up in the air for a long time because the office did not submit a pretreatment estimate for preapproval, which they should have known to do. Also, they did not write a good enough "narrative" for the insurance company at first and had to redo it. There are still some billing questions that haven't been resolved. Overall, I'd say that the procedure was great, but the money part of it has been overly stressful.

Terrific "bedside manner." Professional. Prompt. Nice. Human. A wonderful experience in a historically stressful situation. I would recommend her to anyone. And already have.
