Dr Burchard is the most caring doctor I know. He came in after hours to help me and make sure things were ok. He is very observant to his patient as a person not just a mouth to fix. He is not into doing surgery like other two other periodontists were .who immediately wanted to do surgery. He and Jennifer have saved me from doing surgery for the last fifteen years. His whole office is the best, everyone is so nice and helpful. You could not find anyone better.

I have worse condition after gum surgery by him than it was before. He cut the skin and gum inside of the mouth not right way and too thick. It's didn't stick and heal. Got a lot damages, pain, lost money, time.
During surgery he was too talkative with anothers.

I had no idea this site was here or I would have posted this years ago. Dr. Burchard did my skin grafting procedure and it was awful! Based on the outcome, I would say the skin removed from the roof of my mouth was too thick. I had to go back several times and have the layer thinned out in the new location and the roof of my mouth where it was removed is tender, thin and hurts when I have any sinus issues and in Oklahoma, that is all the time!
About Hygienist: I did not appreciate Dr. Burchard and the Hygienist having personal conversations and talking over me during my procedure as if I were not even there. It was not a pleasant experience.

I seen Dr. Burchard for a gum graft. I was told the procedure would be "kinda like a pizza burn". The assistant tried to fit the plastic stint they made me prior to my procedure. She said repeatedly "this doesn't fit", "this will not work for you". She even tried grinding on it with a dental tool to make it fit with no success. She asked the Dr. if he wanted her to have another one made, and he said "no, it will be ok". It was NOT. The stint fell out that night and I bled quite a bit. By the next night the pain was so intense that it kept me up at night, for the next 8 nights. I went back in to see Dr. Burchard, and his only explanation was "some people just heal differently".
I wore braces for 5 years, and had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted at one time. Neither of which came even close to the pain and interruption to my life that this "little" procedure has caused me.
About Hygienist: The hygienist was very thorough and gentle. She tried explaining to the Dr. that the stint was not going to work, and suggested having another one made before my procedure.

Dr. Burchard is awesome! He has worked on my wife and I both and did an incredible job both times. He even did my implants on his afternoon off. Didn't feel a thing- woth every penny!!!

Dr. Burchard is extremelly skilled in Periodontal surgery. His chair-side manner is warm and professional. He is able to see the "big picture" and cares deeply about the dental health and cosmetic concerns of his patients. His warmth and professionalism is reflected in all aspects of his office personnel.
Beth, the hygienist always asked if I have any concerns before she begins. Ginger, front desk and insurance, always makes me feel as though I am their favorite patient.
All dentist offices should be exactly like this one.

Address listed is incorrect. Facilities are very nice. Dr. Burchard knows what he is doing. I think his charges are rather high, but he gets good results. His dental hygene staff fluctuates from outstanding to very mediocre. He has high tech equipment in his office. Some of his dental hygenists choose not to use that equipment.
