Excellent treatment, great office and surgical help. Very little pain, comfortable office but not much parking.

Dr. Matsuda is great and it reflects in his staff as well. The two implants I had done went extremely well and were not as invasive as I had imagined. The cost for implants is high but I was not as concerned about this as much as who the Dr. and facility were. Dr. Matsuda knows his work and I would highly recommend them.

very, very friendly. Great follow up and "customer service". Was very concerned about my comfort the entire time during the procedure. Called to check on me a few days later.

Dr Matsuda did my dental implants, along with a frenectomy, and gum tissue grafting.
To qualify my opinions, I have a horrible fear of dentists, and have repeatedly had bad dentist experiences with others. He, however, did an excellent job. He explained exactly what he was going to do, and then did it exactly as stated. My recovery from surgery went extremely well, and I didnt have any excessive pain even without pain medication(I took Advil for pain management for 2 days after).
His office staff is excellent, very personable, and made me feel at ease. I am very pleased with his staff, as well as him. In my limited opinion he is one of the best. He did the work fast, and with a level of skill that made it seem like it was easy. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for restorative dental work.
My only complaint is his parking lot. The parking lot is somewhat difficult to navigate with my SUV, especially if there are a few cars in it. As I understand it, he is building a new office which wont have this issue, so I would say even this is only a minimal annoyance.
As far as cost, I think he is fairly priced, judging from what was left for me to pay after my insurance took care of it.

I was very impressed with Dr. Matsuda and his staff. The staff was curtious, friendly and knowledgeable. The procedure room looked to be operating room clean. His assistants were very competent. They seemed to have extraordinary knowledge of the procedures.
Dr. Matsuda went over the procedures with me throughly and gave me options to choose from. He has a vast knowledge of implant and gum related surgeries. I had some extreme dental issues, and I found Dr. Matsuda to be a very highly skilled and competent surgeon. I have already recommended him to people I know.
I was amazed to read a couple reviews above that were not completely favorable. I suspect those patients would not be happy anywhere.
Dr. Matsuda is an outstanding individual and in my opinion, he exceeds the standards held by the profession.

THE DOCTOR IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THE ASSISTANT DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION IN AN ANTICIPATED CHAIR-SIDE MANNER. THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY HELPFUL IN TERMS OF BILLING.

The doctor is probably the best in Hillsboro but the facilities are dated and somewhat unclean. The office atmosphere is not very pleasant overall; it makes you feel nervous and unwelcome the moment you step in there. But he charges a little cheaper for his work than other periodontists. I guess what you pay is what you get.
