I spent over a year with Dr. Thanik undergoing placement of 4 dental implants with removal of primary teeth due to congenital absence of the secondary teeth. I actually kind of enjoyed going to his office. It was fairly relaxing even though the bone grafts I needed after removal of my teeth were fairly painful for about 2 weeks. Placement of the implants themselves was not as painful as the bone grafts. Dr. Thanik was always very kind and explained everything in easy to understand language ( I happen to be a health professional). Appointments ran on time, parking was very easy, the office has a calm and quiet atmosphere, costs were explained up front. He mostly worked well in concert with my dentist although I wish they would have shared imaging studies more frequently so I would not have had them again at my dentist's office. I am very happy with my 4 implants thus far- having them now for 2 months. My dentist placed the crowns over the implants and they are looking and feeling fantastic. My teeth involved were premolars and I would NOT recommend investing in expensive temporary teeth. I could not eat with them and no one even noticed the gaps in my smile. I ended up not using them at all.

Dr Thanik and his team took such great care of me. I first came in to get a consultation done and I had X-rays and an exam. Then he decided I would need bone graphing in addition to the implant itself, which he said he could do in one surgery. The appointments leading up to the surgery went smoothly and so did the surgery. I was sore and swollen for longer than I expected but recovered just fine. Overall the surgery was a great success. I did not use my insurance so the cost was high but not as high as I had originally thought, and they were able to let us use care credit to do payments for two years with no interest. This was a great option for my family. The staff was always so friendly and had good bed side manner. I would definitely recommend this periodontist to anyone looking for one because the quality of care and the surgery outcome was just amazing and flawless.

About Front Desk: The front desk staff was always so friendly and would answer any questions I would have. They were always striving to please the patient which was very nice. They also open early and have early appointments which worked best in my case.

I was referred to Dr. Thanik by my regular dentist for a tooth implant on the upper right tooth which had broken off to the gum line. I met Dr. Thanik on 1/12/16 for a consultation. He explained everything to me in a highly confident and professional manner. I trusted him immediately. I imagined the pain of having to extract the rest of the root and then drive a titanium post in its place. Dr. Thanik offered a moderate IV sedation for the 1/28/16 procedure. The entire appointment went very well; all staff were so professional and easy-going. They made me feel relaxed and comfortable so I wasn't as nervous as I could have been. Dr. Thanik proceeded with the implant, talking to me all along the way about the progress. I was so surprised when they told me the dental surgery was over and it had been about 90 minutes but I felt as though I had only been there for 10 minutes! There was no pain, the entire procedure was very easy, and everything went very well. I have been back a couple of times for scheduled check-ups during the healing process. The office visits are efficient and always professional. Dr. Thanik is a master at his trade and I would highly recommend him for anyone needing a tooth implant.

About Front Desk: The 4 times I have seen them they are always nice, friendly and very efficient. I never have to wait! They all seem to like their jobs.

About Hygienist: The chair-side assistant who may have also been the one to administer the IV was just so excellent! She did her job in a patient, kind and friendly way. This helps customers relax even more.

It was a pleasure meeting Dr Thanik, He was very professional, polite and very meticulous, punctual and very confident.The procedure was a success.and I congratulate him for his facilities You felt like a Movie Star.
