He put a post in after pulling tooth #10, did a good job, but after almost 6 months I have not received any of my insurance money. I was told when it all began I had to pay in full before the procedure was done which I did ($2,150) and was told they would file insurance if I had any and would them send the insurance money to me after they received it.
It has been just about 6 months, and with the insurance help being as atrocious as it was (and is) from his office I asked my insurance company what is going on and was told it was filed wrong, then finally I told his office (which they had the denial letter also) they resubmitted and a check (the number of the check and the amount was told to his office) was sent to the dentist after 5 months but now I am told by the dentist's office they never received it - lost in the mail, so it has to be re-filed. I am now out the $711.60 from my insurance and have to wait 30 days before the dentist's office can re-file for the benefits again. So far, almost 6 months and no insurance money from my insurance company.
About Front Desk: Very bad insurance help. Most doctors allow you to pay for the things that insurance will not cover, then they file your insurance and receive that amount so they are paid for their work. I was told I must pay for the work in full before it was done or they would not do it. I have never been treated this way before and laying out $2,150 the day I went for my appointment was not an easy thing to do.

My son had some extensive problems with his gums and our experience with Dr. Winford was surprisingly great! Not only were he and his staff highly skilled and professional they were also very personable. My son has had no more problems since Dr. Winford finished his treatment.
