This is an excellent dentist. I will go to him if I need a root canal or something extensive. I don't live nearby so I've had another dentist for minor procedures and I must admit I wish I'd made the drive to see Dr. Sloan because I've always been happy with his work.

Dr. Sloan is the dentist of my former dentist. When my former dentist moved his office too far away, he recommended Dr. Sloan to me. I have friends on the faculty at the UCLA dental school (where my father used to work after he retired from his own dental practice) and they told me Dr. Sloan has an excellent reputation among other dentists. Obviously true! I have been his patient for several years, and he is exemplary! He takes time to expalin everything to me, he gives me alternatives, and most importantly, he has excellent technical and professional skills at making everything run smoothly and turn out well. He uses a special technique to make injections just about completely painless! His outcomes are wonderful. He has done fillings and crowns for me, and they all look exactly like real teeth. I can't see the porcelain fillings of the front teeth, he matched the color to the existing teeth so well. I tend to be objectively critical in general, and I have absolutely nothing to complain about with Dr. Sloan! He is wonderful! He is an artist in his science! -- David S.
