I feel very mixed about this dentist. He advertises a lot. I feel that he should provide adequate care and follow up to existing patients rather than constantly marketing to bring in new patients. He advertises a 'five year guarantee' for implants but drops you as a patient if you even have a question or concern about work that has been completed, essentially rendering the 'five year guarantee' null and void. The blond, older woman at the front desk is very hostile. He also has his practice up for sale.

I have had him do a few crowns. They always come out looking very natural with very little pain. I think Dr Gary Solnit is a great dentist. He may be a little expensive, but I trust him completely. He is so sweet that I would want him as a friend, not just a dentist.
About Hygienist: Always very nice to me.

I have been seeing Dr. Solnit for many years and he is a competent dentist and is very serious about his work. He will do an excellent job with crowns and implants. However, I have not been completely happy with his choice of color on some of my teeth and may have to redo them.

Highly recommended. I would trust him and recommend him without reservation, and have recommended him to both family and friends, who are all very happy. Whether for regular dentistry or prosthodontics, there would be no reason to go elsewhere except that his prices are Beverly Hills prices. But I am convinced that you couldn't get better quality, so it depends how price-sensitive you are. He is a perfectionist, and will re-do his own work if he does not think it is flawless, even if you can't see a difference.

Dr. Gary Solnit is a miracle worker. He can give people their smiles and their confidence back. I have seen him restore
teeth in people who are missing one or two teeth...or an entire mouthful of teeth. He is top notch and well known in the dental field as a dental genius.

Excellent in every regard! Expensive, but the quality is first rate. Worth the trade-off in most cases. The best I've been to.
