Read Reviews for Dr. Gary Laine
I was in an auto accident in the early '80s. I hit my head against the windshield and rammed my jaw into the steering wheel. I spent years in severe and chronic pain. Thousands of dollars on different doctors - all types of dentists, neurologists, ENTs and more. I got conned out of $20k by a socalled TMJ expert. I felt the pain from the TMJ in my teeth. Every tooth in my mouth had a root canal and $$$$ down the drain. I haven't mentioned my quality of life.
I finally found Gary Laine. He was a life saver for me. It took time for him to restore my bite but he did. He figured out what to do and explained everything and made sure I knew what, when and how.
I lost almost all of my teeth due to unnecessary root canals. We started with implants and he was great. Gary was and is a perfectionist.
3 years ago I had to have what was left of my upper teeth extracted. He was right there with me during the surgery. I now have a great smile.
I read some of the reviews and I them to be mostly in accurate. Don't think any personality flaws you may or may not imagined are good enough to say that he is not a good doctor. Gary is the best.
Gary has skill, good judgement and confidence that he has developed the best plan for his patient.

I had a car accident in 1985. I smashed my forehead into the windshield ramming my jaw into the steering wheel. I rearranged my jaw and my bite. After years of chronic and severe pain, many doctors (neurologists, ENTs and more), root canals on all my teeth, half my teeth extracted and 5+ different dentists. Conned out of $20k by a TMJ "expert" I met through Stanford. I was in pain with little quality of life and bleeding money.
Then...I met Gary Laine.
He worked out a treatment plan to restore my bite to its natural position. He explained everything in detail. I knew what, where, when and everything else in advance. Dr. Laine was/is a consummate professional. He was knowledgable, enthusiastic and confident that he could help me. He was exactly who I needed. Dr. Laine is supportive, kind, gentle, smart, flexible, nonjudgmental yada yada yada. If he has a question about something he will refer me. I have beautiful dentures and a great smile.
I disagree with almost all of the neg. reviews. He is not arrogant and full of himself but confident and enthusiastic that he can help his patients. He is a perfectionist. He gets jazzed when difficult problems are resolved.
I like Dr. Laine. On a scale of 1-5 he's a 10.

I had full implants with the surgery done by an oral surgeon. Laine is full of himself, somewhat arrogant, but I didn't go for a fun relationship. He is an excellent and highly skilled dentist and my results were absolutely fabulous. And yes, very very expensive.

Excellent results with two difficult procedures involving five teeth over a period of seven years. The most recent procedure required three implants. The work was painless. Dr. Laine is expensive, but the cost is directly related to his superior knowlege/skill/experince.
