In the 1960's when the up and coming Dr West was completing dental school, I was his patient at age 12 or 13 where he did a gold foil on my "I" tooth. Now at age 62, EVERY dentist that has ever seen my teeth, all marvel at his signature handiwork. It lasts a lifetime it seems. He was always a conscientious perfectionist about his work as I remember him waiting for his dental teachers to grade what he had done.
It appears, after curiously searching and reading about him on the Internet, he's still the same conscientious perfectionist that has been genuinely concerned about his patients. Were it not for the fact I live on the continental U.S. (Chicago area), I would continue to be his patient only. It's been a pleasure and honored testimony to give about Dr. Bruno West.

I am 70 and know my teeth will outlast me. He is chatty but a visit feels like going to a friends house. Best of all he really cares about you and his work for you.
Doesn't take HDS!
If you can afford him it is very worthwhile as I feel there are none better in Honolulu. Sort of the Porsche of dentists.

My parents went to Dr West for well over 10 years and had dentures, crowns, and other esthetic work done. Dr West did an amazing job for both of them and he went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure they were completely satisfied. My parents have moved to the Mainland and have seen a couple of other "great" prosthodontists but done of them compare to Dr West. He truly is the best. Lucky you live Hawaii.

Dr. West has been my dentist for over 20 years, and I now come from the Big Island to visit him. He has always done a great job. He recognizes my fears and helps me through them. He has also gone out of his way to adjust to my scheduling needs. His staff is friendly and helpful. It would be hard to find a better dentist.
