At one time I was a dental assistant for a large dental group in N.W. Indiana. Dr. Phelps and his staff are top notch.

I'm extremely terrified of dentists after bad experiences as a child. It took a lot to get me to go back to a dentist but a friend told us that Dr. P was super-good to her so I gave him a try. He's always been patient with my fears, taken the time to explain everything thoroughly and give me a few breaks to compose myself. When things aren't going well for me, he tries something else to alleviate my problem. On top of it all, he does good dentistry! He finds me good dentists for referral (I've had extractions and root canals).
