Needed upper and lower dentures. Staff is nice but Dr needs to practice impulse control like calling people names (i.e. mental illness). He also acts defensively when patient tells him of pain and discomfort.

About Front Desk: 3.5

About Hygienist: nice lady but I did not need cleanings. She was responsive.

My wife and I are long time patients. We moved to New Jersey 10 years ago but still make the long trek to NYC twice a year. Well worth the trip! Dr. Croll can't be beat. Periodically I also see a periodontist who marvels at the quality of the bridge work Dr. Croll has done. He has even called in associates to point out the finer points of Dr C's work.

About Front Desk: Harriet and Daisy are the best! Professional, but always attentive and caring. Like chicken soup for the mouth!

About Hygienist: Still miss Jean, who was a lovely lady. But I have to admit the new young woman is thoroughly professional and just as good.

I came to Dr. Croll for an implant on the recommendation of a friend about 20 years ago having lost a tooth due to an improper root canal by another dentist. I immediately thought I had found the best dentist in New York in Dr. Croll and continue to believe that's true. I have had regular cleanings and maintenance in his office, several porcelain veneers, fillings and crowns and am always impressed with the quality of his work - he is more than a dentist - he is an artist - and thorough and personable. I have had no trouble with insurance claims - they are put through immediately by the front desk staff. I definitely recommend him to others.

About Front Desk: Exceptional - extremely competent and friendly. Several of the staff have been at Dr. Croll's front desk for as long as I've been his patient and say hello to me by name as I walk in. My insurance is put through immediately electronically by them as I leave and my reimbursement always arrives the following week.

About Hygienist: Excellent. I have had cleanings by all of the hygienists who work with Dr. Croll and have always found their work and vigilance to be exceptional. My appointment can go 60 minutes depending on what needs to be done. Dr. Croll always comes in and says hello and checks everything out before I leave.

Doesn't do implants but did do the new tooth that fits on top of it. Burney is a true artist! The staff are always cheerful, professional and knowledgeable. Even when the news is not good, the chair-side manner is warm, concerned and professional.

About Front Desk: Everyone is helpful and cheerful. Processes my insurance for me electronically. If I need any documentation, cheerfully sends it out. Very helpful finding new appointments when I need to reschedule. Will put me on a wait list if anything comes available at the last minute.

I started going to Dr. Croll when my old dentist retired. Originally, I went there for cleanings but after one of my molars cracked he made me a new onlay. The workmanship was excellent.

About Hygienist: There was a new hygienist whose name I don't recall but she was very professional and gentle. My teeth felt quite clean when she finished.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr.Croll for 15 years. He is highly professional with an eye to details. Dr. Croll takes the time to explain every procedure and has the latest dental technology. Our experiences have been pain free and we highly recommend him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Croll's for approximately 15 years, first mainly for general dental maintenace and cleanings and then around 3 years ago Dr. Croll gave me the most beautiful porcelain veneers on both of my lateral incisors. He is an artist! They look completely natural -- the perfect size and color. I've referred friends/co-workers to him who have also been really satisfied with his work. The office is very nice, clean and in a great location.

About Front Desk: Front desk staff is very friendly and are great about reminding me when it's time for my next cleaning. They also do a great job in handling insurance.
