I've been seeing Dr. Mendoza for years. He has performed two or three crowns and onlays and numerous silver filling removals, as well as routine exams. His hygienist, Rick, who does the cleanings, is outstanding. The whole staff is outstanding. I have no reservations in recommending them whatsoever.
About Hygienist: Rick is patient, thorough and tremendous.

I've had nothing but great experiences at Dr. Mendoza's office. His staff is very courteous, kind and helpful. Office and exam areas are very clean and neat. Nice soothing music. I've been happy with all the procedures I've had done (cleanings, fillings). Reception and hygienists are all very polite and nice. Dr. Mendoza himself is very pleasant. Great chair-side manner, and he actually listens to and answers questions! He even explained one of my procedures before he did it. Kudos all the way around.
My insurance company does the billing, so i can't speak properly on price.

I've been going to Dr. Mendoza for over 7 years now. He replaced all my old amalgem fillings with the white ceramic ones and also fitted me with a porcelin crown and gold molar onlay. All the work was top notch. The office is spotless and they have all the latest equipment. The staff is extremely friendly and I've never had a bad experience. The cleanings are superb. I've been self-insured the entire time and the fees seem reasonable but I suspect you could pay less elsewhere. However, this is a very good dentist. Great credentials - UC Berkely Dental school graduate.
