Read Reviews for Dr. Jeffery Bender
I went in for routine inspection and ended with a root canal procedure. the gutta-percha went through the root and into my sinus, leading to more drilling by two other dentists to remove it and ultimately to surgery to remove the root tip via apioectomy , then a filling and later to a crown which is leaking rotting material which will lead to another procedure. This has been very stressful and has caused me to be unable to use this half of my mouth for periods of up to a year at a time. I am returning this week for yet another procedure involving this tooth. aarrgh!!!!

I have just begun treatment with Dr. Bender so I cannot speak on long-term results. I will say that I have a very real phobia for shots anywhere near my mouth and he is the first doctor to ever give them and I felt nothing. I could have kissed him for that but it was hard since my mouth was completely numb. I loved my time with him so I hope it does work out. I read a very good review and one that was awful. I guess it is all one's expectations and style.

I have not needed significant dental work, but when one tooth had to get a crown, Dr. Bender was able to use an in-house procedure to create an onlay in the same visit. The cost was the same, but I wasn't excited about having a crown. The front office is very helpful on insurance and I did not get any surprises on billing. Dr. Bender is pretty high-energy, which can add some anxiety, but he knows his stuff. They take their time during the cleaning appointments to make sure you get a thorough exam. I don't feel like I have cavities waiting to happen.

This is the absolute worst Dentist I've had the misfortune to have treat me. His "bedside" manner stinks - his employees shiver in his presence and his work was the worst. While the office is well run - the results were really bad. I went for a simple recement of a crown and he talked me into getting a new one at quite a cost to me. He said it would last me for a very long time. I had to go to his office about 6 times for this one tooth and it came out after only six months. Although I have to pay another dentist to redo this crown, I'd rather spend the money than have him fix it for free
