I schedueled my first appointment with Dr. Chu and was able to get in the office at the end of the week. When I went there the building was easy to find, it was right off Atlantic, and it was easy to find parking as they have there own free garage (no worries about getting a ticket). The setting was very comfortable and the staff was very nice. They took me back and prepped me, then Dr. Chu began. It seemed quick, but not rushed, and I got a clean bill of health :)

Dr. Chu installed 4 veneers over my front teeth when I wanted to fix my smile. The process was relatively quick, and he had gotten everything done over the course of just about a month. I am very happy with my smile now and think I made a good choice when going with Dr. Chu. I see a lot of dentists offering the veneers so cheap, but then I saw they all had pretty bad reviews online about poor quality, so I'm happy that I went with Dr. Chu. He said usually his results last longer because he uses higher quality materials, so I will wait and see, but I am smiling now!

I have been going to Dr Chu for a number of years now. He's very gentle for those of you with phobias (as I have!). I've had the deep cleaning (water pik), a few fillings, and one crown all done by him. I've also thrown up in his chair (once) while they were taking a mold of my teeth. Although he was not able to remove my 4 wisdom teeth, he did recommend me to a very nice gentleman near my home.
All in all, all the procedures cost about $1500 out of pocket - my insurance paid the other half. Regular check ups are around $90. Oh, and Tracy, the receptionist/dental assistant is really kind and good about helping you make the best of your dental plan.
They both make recommendations but although neither one is pushy about it. Regarding the office itself - upon entering, you will notice the nice fragrance that is not overpowering - just welcoming. There is a small play area for kids and an overstuffed chair for magazine reading.
Definitely recommend.

Dr. Chu is a Chinese dentist trained in the United States. He is polite but a little macho. He did his job well and fast, with no hesitation. He speaks softly, and that tends to calm me a bit. His office is nice, with clean and sanitary equipments. His assistant is a also a bit uppity like him and tend to talk down to his patients. He is suppose to be a cosmetic dentist, so he charges a lot. All kinds of certificates and graduation confirmation on his walls.

Dr. Chu has a very up to date and clean office. He has toys for children after their visit. He is competent, but lacking in good bedside manners (chairside manners?) He would walk off to his office between treatment intervals, like when you are waiting for the injection to numb you. He would not pay close attention to your questions or concerns. He is however efficient and confident in his treatments. He tries not to inflict pain. His office manager is left to answer questions and cover up for his rudeness. He encourages new referrals by giving out movie tickets. He does very well financially.
