LOVE Dr. Shaw, I've been going to him since 1983! He and his office staff are THE BEST!!

I have been a patient of Dr Shaw for well over 20 years. Dr Shaw and his staff are the best. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. I feel like I am going to visit friends when I go to my appointment. I actually look forward to going if you can believe that. Most of the staff have been there as long as can remember which is a positive reflection of Dr Shaw and his staff. The entire staff always have a smile and appear to enjoy their jobs. I also feel Dr Shaw and his staff are very respectful of patients time. I have never had to wait to see the hygienist or Dr Shaw. They see you shortly after you arrive. Dr Shaw also has the nicest dental assistants. Teri is like an old friend that I look forward to visiting. I highly recommend Dr Shaw!!!

About Front Desk: Front Desk Staff always greet me as soon as I arrive. Scheduling is always easy and they call to confirm my appointment a day or two prior. Billing is simple and they even added an insurance company when my company changed insurance companies.

About Hygienist: All of the hygienist are extremely nice and gentle. My appointments are typically with Lonniea. We talk about our pets and vacations. I feel like I am catching up with an old friend. The atmosphere is very comfortable. They offer a massager in the chair and headphones to listen to music.

My family has been going to Dr Robert Shaw for over 20 years. He has great skill, great staff, good location, modern equipment and a fantastic chair-side manner. The office staff is highly professional, and always willing to work with my insurance carrier. I strongly recommend this office and Dr. Shaw

About Hygienist: Beth has been my hygienist for almost my entire history with Dr. Shaw. She is great with cleaning, gentle, and puts me at ease with her mannerisms.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Shaw since he started his practice (when we were all much younger!!) We LOVE him, he is the most caring, competent and patient-oriented dentist I've ever been to. His staff is awesome; wouldn't dream of seeing anyone else!

Great dentist! I switched to Dr. Shaw after seeing another dentist and hygienist in Plano. Unlike those people, everyone in the office are super nice and friendly and genuinely interested in you as a person. They do great work and I never feel like they are trying to upsell. The other dentist told me I'd need a number of various treatments including a crown. Dr. Shaw fixed it with a filling instead of a crown and saved me hundreds of dollars. I feel at home in this office.

This is the best dentist thus far I have been to. The staff is very friendly and cares about making you have a healthy and great smile. I encourage anyone looking for a dentist Try Dr Shaw, everyone was wonderful. I am so glad to have them to take care of any teeth needs that I need. Kristen is a great person also Dr. Shaws assistant is wonderful as well I give everyone thumbs up and 10 stars.

I've been to so many yucky dental offices that this one blew me away! It is incredibly nice and clean. My friend recommended the office and I'm glad I made the appointment here. I could tell the office staff was going to be amazing from my first phone call. She even called me back to make sure I was able to find a babysitter in case I needed to reschedule (it's tough to find good customer service in Dallas). I felt like I was in good hands from the start. I went in for a routine checkup and a toothache. I felt relaxed and pampered with the massage mat on my chair. The cleaning and exam was very thorough. Dr. Shaw is very polite and honest. I need to go back in for a crown (old filling had gone bad). I asked about getting fillings on a few of my back teeth where the gums have receded, but Dr. Shaw said it wasn't a good idea if I've still got a bad night-time clenching problem. I had heard mixed things about receded gums. The last dentist was pressuring me to get it done, but I had heard it might cause problems later. Now, I'm pretty sure they were just trying to make extra money. I trust Dr. Shaw with my upcoming crown procedure. The price is reasonable and I only pay half with my dental coverage
