Was told I would have to be prepared to pay $200 before even going to the appt., then once there was told I would have to pay $92 for an xray since insurance already paid for one. This was before I even saw the dentist for my tooth ache. How do they know they need a pana xray before looking into my mouth. They told me they were billing my insurance for an exam even though it was not a complete exam so now I cannot have another exam during my teeth cleaning unless I pay out of pocket. The dentist said xrays looked fine but gave me an antibiotic "just in case", told me to each soft food and come back in 2 weeks. WOW.....I missed 2.5 hours of work for that!

My Experience: Exam & Consultation, X-Rays
Duration: EXAM of 4 teeth due to toothache and billing insurance for a complete exam so now when I go for my cleaning I cannot have another exam per my insurance company. Not understanding why a toothache exam of a few teeth is coded like a complete exam.. They also told me to be prepared to pay $200 upfront even though I have insurance before I even got to the office.

I've had a range of dental work done over the 20+ years I've been a patient at Dr. Konikoff's office. Hands down, Dr. David Konikoff has cornered the market on customer service. He remembers my son's name and asks specifically about his well being on every visit. He is very caring and concerned. Luv, luv, luv him and his practice. He hires the best and the brightest. Would trust my life to him!

The dentists and staff in his office are nice and friendly. The facilities are very nice. But the work done is often subpar and need to be redone many times. Caps, fillings, crowns, and bridges fall out or need to be replaced within a short period of time. It's a nice place place to visit, but I would not recommend it as a place you would go if you want quality dental care.

This dentist put bonding on my son's teeth 4 times, and it kept falling off. We always felt like we were being herded like cattle in there.

I've been a patient of Dr. Konnikoff since he started a single practice back in the 80's. He's grown to multi-locations and it hasn't reduced the quality of his dentistry. All the dentists at all the offices are friendly and knowledgeable (the orthodontists are great too). The offices are spacious and well-equipped with televisions, headphones, a mini-theatre, and other distractions that help get you through the dentistry. He's also very good with children.
More personally, I recently had a financial situation that made it difficult to get a root canal that was greatly needed. His office worked out a plan and I'm totally happy with the results.
I highly recommend at least trying one of Dr. Konnikoff's offices.

Dr Konikoff's office has a poor billing depatment. Although a bill was sent and was acknowledged as being received, it turns out it was lost. The individual I spoke with advised she sometimes forgets to place notes in accounts. Poor business!!!

I was extremely nervous when I arrived at this office as I have had very unpleasant visits to other dentist offices in the past. However, this office staff did a great job putting me at ease. I would highly recommend!
