- I have seen many dentists and I am particular with how they treat us (2 adults, 3 children), because they have my family's smile and dental health at hand. Dr. Mainker and her staff have exceeded my expectations with their care. My kids prefer to go to her than the previous dentists that we have had in the past. Her thoroughness with care, explanations, and follow-thru has been a welcomed relief. I usually have plenty of questions, and her and her staff has always answered them all. I never feel rushed or unaccommodating at any of my appointments. Dr. Mainker makes the time to see all her patients and ensure that we are doing as needed to keep good dental care and hygiene.
About Front Desk: When it comes to discussing money - they are always great at explaining treatments and costs. Front office is great at confirming and rescheduling as needed. Always greeted with a smile, professionalism, and kindness.

About Hygienist: The dental hygienist has always been nice and good to us. We like them so much that I go for more than 2 cleanings a year- I for every 3 months (sensitive teeth). My children and I love them all. Thank you.

in my opinion this dentist is a crook. i went in for a routine cleaning and was told i needed $15k worth of crowns and additionally a deep cleaning for initially an additional $100 and then an additional $127 for a total of $227 over the cost of a normal cleaning. don't forget the $15k in crowns. i have had my teeth cleaned yearly for so many years without an issue. i asked for a copy of my xrays, which they agreed to give me. when i went back for them i was asked why i needed a copy of my xrays and i told them to get a second opinion. the dentist then got nasty and wanted to know why i needed a second opinion and she refused to give me a copy of the xrays. needless to say i left and will never go back. a second opinion does not support the work this dentist wanted to do. all i got for my payment to them was a few xrays taken, which i could not have copies of, a 10 minute partial cleaning, and a lot of unnecessary stress in my life. there is no way i would trust this place to do any dental work for me.

I was taken aback by unnecessary treatments that were recommended. The first was deep cleaning and then to top it off she also recommended use of Arestin (an antibiotic). After I read about Arestin, its cost and treatment efficacy I was shocked. Reviews talked about doctors prescribing it for every gum pocket at a cost of $40-$50 per pocket.
I called back to find out if Arestin was a "must" and they said NO.
Got a second opinion from another dentist, who told me I didn't need deep cleaning nor Arestin. Thank God for going with my gut feeling and getting a second opinion. She almost had me convinced of the treatment and I would have spend $1000 on all this unnecessary treatment.
Hope she doesn't scare other patients into unnecessary treatments. God Bless.

I and my family have been a patient at Natural Smile for over 5 years. I have always been very impressed with Dr Mainker's thoroughness. She became my dentist when I went to her for a second opinion, and ended up saving 30% of what the other dentist was recommending as treatment. My 11 year old son does not hesitate in going to the dentist because of the caring and gently attitude that the Dr and staff always have. Whenever I or my family need any treatment, Dr Mainker takes time to explain, and shows us intraoral pictures, X-rays etc to make sure we understand what is the impact and benefit of treatment. I recommend her highly to everyone.

Dr. Mainker likes to prescribe antimicrobial treatment after deep cleaning. Unfortunately this treatment is not recognized or covered by most insurance policies. I had both Aetna PPO and United PPO and neither covered this very expensive medicine citing that there was not conclusive evidence that it worked.
There was also an occurance where she could not get me numb and I had to sit through some painful treatment to take out a filling.
Customer service is indifferent to customers at best.
Dr. Mainker is very polite though.

I have seen better dentists. They keep telling me I need this filling done and that filling done, just to "create" business. The management is really bad and disorganized. The treatement was so-so. They looked in very much hurry to just finish the work quickly in a hotch-potch manner without caring really to do a very good job. I don't think I will go there again.

wrong diagnosis. checked with 2 other dentists and confirmed it. had suggested an implant when one was not necessary

Dr. Mainker is friendly and knowledgable. Her office is clean and relaxing and her staff is friendly. I was very concerned about the cost of the dental work I knew my son needed, but they worked with me and my insurance so that I could get the work done within my budget.
I would reccommend Dr. Mainker very highly.
