My kids love her! She is kind, informative, and makes everyone really comfortable. We have been going to her for many years and followed her when she changed offices. I recommend her to all my friends!

Horrible Experience! Office was nice, clean, and staff was friendly. As for the Dentist, she greeted us very friendly, but once she started to work on my son, her face changed to that of a demon. She was not patient, and no longer very friendly. I warned her that my son is scared of dentists, and he spits, pukes, and moves around a lot. Well she was looking at his teeth, he started to puke, she THREW HIM off of her!!! Not gentle at all and made my son even more scared of the dentist. Then she calmed down and started to look at his teeth again, and my son puked a little more (just a little in his own mouth). She TOSSED HIM IN THE AIR and back into my wife's arms!!! And said she can't work on him, we would have to reschedule for another day. And all this after telling me that his tooth is very seriously infected and something needs to be done immediately. Then she goes throws my kid, and tells me to reschedule. Even the nurse looked shocked at what happened. When I was taken to reception, the reception asked if I would you like to reschedule, and I said NO. She had the look of, "I don't blame you for not wanting to reschedule."
To the dentist: If you can't handle kids puking, don't work with kids.
To everyone else: Stay far away

Dr. Margita Meyers filled a cavity for my three year old daughter. My daughter walked in healthy, happy and energetic and within hours of her procedure ended up with a dangerous infections requiring hospitalization.

My son was a reluctant patient of Dr. Meyers, as he is rather sensitive to strong tastes and has a gag reflex that always kicks in. Aside from squirming and gagging he was not unduly disruptive.
Dr. Meyers isn't the most patient doctor I've met, especially for someone specializing in pediatrics. She tended to skip over treatments, such as xrays and flossing, rather than work with the child/parent to make sure necessary aspects of the exam were completed.
After examining him recently, a deep cavity was discovered, at which point Dr. Meyer chose to DUMP HIM AS A PATIENT. She simply said she could not treat him and that he would probably require sedation and strapping down! No recommendations for another dentist were forthcoming and her manner was utterly unprofessional. She made no effort whatsoever to work with us on this unfortunate and pressing situation.
I have since found a great, empathic, child-friendly dentist whom I am most pleased with, Dr. Lyden. My son responses very well to her and she works to ease his discomfort. Further, she never appears to be in a hurry during visits and takes time to thoroughly explain her findings.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Meyers for her first ever dental visit, at 3. She was low-pressure with my daughter and made her feel very comfortable. I didn't expect her to spend as much time talking to my daughter or me--but she was very calm, friendly, soothing, unrushed. I was allowed into the exam room with my daughter, which made us both feel better. The doctor did the exam and cleaning. I think she is very honest that her practice is part-time. As a work at home mom, I respect that very much. I remember my childhood dental appts as being nervous, scary sessions. I am so glad this experience was not either of those things.

Not terrible impressed with Dr. Meyers. We were referred to her by our "adult" dentist who does not accept children. We have a special-needs child (was only 3 when we took him the first time to see her), and while she was nice and everything, we never really felt that she was really going out of her way to make him feel comfortable. Also, she has VERY limited hours she works and the office is very small. Not a ton of child-friendly things in her office either- the waiting room has only a few toys. While it was ok, I think there are better places. She advised that our son needed most of his teeth capped due to poor enamel development, but told us we would be best off going to Children's to have it done, rather than having her do it. Overall, not the most impressed. We are currently looking for a different dentist.

She seemed knowledgeable and was informative; however, she
seemed unsympathetic to patient concerns on several levels (comfort, communication, coverage by insurance). Despite being a pediatric dentist, we could not tell that there had been any special effort made to be friendly or make our child more comfortable. She jumped to false conclusions about our child's eating habits, and despite our recoil, did not seem to tell she had misunderstood.
