Dr. Austin did such a good job on my crowns he actually improved my bite. For that reason he's worth the slightly more I paid.

I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but hands down Dr. Austin is the only one I like going to. He's professional and informative, and will give you all your options. I pressed him for his opinion, which I ultimately went with, and couldn't be happier with the result. He's also the only dentist I've had who let me sit after the initial numbing instead of forging ahead. I never knew what a difference that could make! I'm not sure I would've shown up for my big procedure (rogue baby tooth at 27 years old) without all of the excellent pre-treatment care.
I also love his office layout. There's one beautiful waiting room as you walk in, and another one for "triage" type of events. I had to hang out there before my procedure and it was really relaxing and soothing. It was nice not listening to people check in and out while mentally gearing up for an extraction and bridge installment.
I've hidden my smile for years, but I proudly show it off now. The boost to my confidence is worth more than anything, and it really has upgraded my life to be happier and more positive.
About Front Desk: The front desk staff have always been easy to work with, even when I had complicated questions for them. Very nice and pleasant.

Dr. Austin is deceptive and greedy. His major interest is his patient's money, not their well being. I asked for porcelain veneers and I was concerned about maintaining most of my real tooth structure. Dr. Austin assured me that he would only take 1 1/2 millimeters from the front of the tooth and 1/2 millimeter from the back and then he said, "Do you know how little 1/2 millimeter is?" He put me to sleep completely during the procedure and when I woke up, my teeth were almost completely gone and now I need full crowns. He has caused me extreme pain and anxiety. DO NOT GO TO DR. AUSTIN FOR DENTAL WORK. -Bish

Please really think about the advertising claims Dr. Austin makes on dental implants. He is not an expert. I had three failed attempts at an front tooth implant with Dr. Austin and ended up with a horrible "cosmetic fix" when an implant could not be placed. I overheard him state to his billing person that I should be charged for everything eventhough he could not get the implant in. Very painful experience both physically and emotionally.
