His initial visit is $39 if you pay cash, which supposedly includes a cleaning. However, it is just a cosmetic polish. He has separated out any "real" cleaning into a separate $200 procedure that everyone would need or they run the risk of GUM DISEASE. This special "debridement" is what is covered in other dentists' normal initial visit procedures, without the fanfare, added cost, and scare tactics. When I requested to have the regular cleaning that was included with the initial visit, TREATMENT WAS DENIED "because that was not what the dentist recommended". When I tried to insist that my body is not their property (ergo, treatment is up to me), I was stonewalled. Just realize if you see this dentist that, although their facilities are state-of-the-art, they have given up the old-time service you could expect from a dentist. They have found a way to increase their fees by separating out services that others provide at no cost, often renaming them as a marketing ploy.

I'm a realatively new patient of Dr. Rygg, however, I am greatly impressed with him and his staff. They are all very professional and help to make your visit a stress-free event. Everyone has a positive attitude, and they treat patients exceptionally well.
Facilities are clean and have the latest equipment. Waiting time is the least I've ever experienced. They are also GREAT with kids. My step-mom, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter have all become patients, and we are all IMPRESSED.
