Dr. Robbins is a sweetheart of a man, very kind and thoughtful (and bright). His services aren't the most inexpensive but he's worth what he charges since he doesn't miss anything and so his pricing is 'competitive' with other good dentists' rates. I have only had a few dentists in my life (that includes a Navy dentist or two) and so far Dr. Michael is the best dentist I've had... he's up on the latest technology and may suggest advanced or cosmetic treatments also for those who can afford (I can't). Throughout my life I've had more than a dozen cavities filled (most of them by an earlier dentist in a previous locale), so I'm no stranger to the dentist office experience. His office is nicely decorated and comfortable. He always has pleasant staff too, and although he is intense, there is also always a happy/funny moment or two during each visit. I actually enjoy seeing my dentist (of course the reasons for being there aren't always fun and happy).
If you can tolerate the protracted process of qualifying financially to become one of his patients (he has a very busy practice), I can heartily recommend him as a dentist. I love him (and neither he nor I is gay)! I only saw one review for him here and thought I'd add mine.

I have gone to Dr Robbins for 15 years since he took over the practice of my former dentist. His office is well maintained - they always use the most up-to-date equipment (e.g. low-dose x-rays, digital imaging, etc.)
The staff is efficient and friendly; insurance billing is fast and accurate.
No complaints!
