Dr. Maewall SAVED MY TOOTH!!! (And honestly my life.)
After waking up one morning two weeks ago with a gaping hole in my front tooth and realizing my tooth sensitivity WASNT actually tooth sensitivity,it was a gigantic cavity and it came straight through my tooth.
I went to gental dental for xrays and to hopefully fill the cavity and they determined immidiately that I'd need a root canal and a cap and that would cost me $2,300.00. After breaking down in tears in their office I decided it wouldnt hurt to get a second opinion as there is just no way I could have ever afforded that having no dental insurance.
A friend told me about Dr.Renu Maewall in Wellesley and upon my initial visit I just got a great feeling she was highly experienced and she seemed very understanding about my budget. I was truly amazed. She told me she would do her best to save the tooth but with no promises.
AND THAT SHE DID!!!!!!
My NEW smile is better than ever :D
Not only is she a fantastic dentist but her receptionist is very professional and her dental assistant is just a sweetheart also.
If you are in search of a new dentist LOOK NO FURTHER!

My daughter is an actress; she had great teeth but there were spaces between them and they protruded slightly. I never knew how much this bothered her until AFTER Dr. Maewell made her beautiful! She and Dr. Maewell chose bonding for her. Dr. Maewell was like an artist! She wouldn't quit until they were just exactly what she thought would look best on my daughter. I have been blessed with beautiful teeth (no braces) and although Dr. Maewell did not know me, the first thing everyone said was "your smile looks just like your Mom's now". That made me realize that Dr. Maewell--who did not know me at all--kept working with my daughter until she achieved a natural look--the one nature intended. My daughter went from cute to absolutely beautiful in just 3 hours. Her confidence level went from Okay to outstanding! We love Dr. Maewell and my entire family will now use her for general dentistry as well as any cosmetic need that may come up in the future. Not only is she totally professional, she is a lovely person and goes way beyond what one expects of a busy dentist. Thanks for changing my daughter's life Dr. Maewell!

I've only been in once, but the exam she performed was far better than any dental exam that I had had in the past 5 years. She's thorough, intelligent, attentive to detail and generally inspires confidence. I am looking forward to my next visits (as odd as no doubt that sounds given that this is dentistry we're talking about!).
One thing I should mention: her facilities get 5 stars even though she does not have 'spittoons' and uses an air-vacuum instead. This is more hygienic for the patient in the long run and so I prefer it. If you absolutely must spit then consider her facilities to be 4-star.

Dr. Maewell,
Is amazing! Myself and two children are huge fans. She is incredibly delicate, gentle and thorough. My nine-year old actually likes going to the dentist.
Dr. Maewall is incredibly calming and I have always had terrfic results.

Outstanding dentist who really cares about his patients. The best office staff I have ever known. Dr. Maewall will make sure you understand exactly what they will be doing and if you have any questions regarding your visit. The treatment rooms are very relaxing with the recline massage pad in the dental chairs you almost forget about the procedures taken place in your mouth. They have many payment options and they will even file your insurance for you. If you are looking for a new dentist I would highly recommend Dr. Maewall.

I genuinely recommend Dr. Maewall's office. She is a competent dentist and she takes cares of all your dental needs. I had a dental veneers and crown put in. I love the way my teeth look now.

Dr. Maewall is caring & careful. Her office handles insurance with very little need for paperwork on the part of the patient, which is very important to me. Good office for dental phobics! Very gentle & no big push to "sell" you on cosmetic services, as in some practices, although it is available if desired. Dr. Maewall is also good about emergencies, as I came back from a trip to the Cape & she came in on a Saturday just for me.
