Dr. Estafan was great. He spoke to me with respect and explained everything. He was very gentle and I really felt no pain whatsoever. I have recomended him to several friends who were all very happy.

I was in New York on a business trip when My sore tooth became extreme. I had never been to New York and had no idea who to call. Our Hotel suggested the practice of Drs. Hudson and Estafan. I called on a Friday at 9:15 am to see if I could possibly be seen. To my supprise they had me in their office by 10:15 under the care of Dr. Ash Estafan. He and their staff fixed my situation promptly and helped file for insurance and I was able to make the lunch and the following meeting that was planned. I never imagined that I could have found such a caring and professional Doctor and staff on such short notice.I would highly reccommend their practice as I know where I will go If in New York again with a tooth problem.

Dr. Estafan introduced me to pain-free denistry. Of course, my previous dentist didn't use novicaine on me until I was 15 years old, so I'm coming from a world of dental hell. Nevertheless, I have experienced several differenet dentist since that time, and I can truly say that Dr. Estafan is the best of the group. The first thing that comes to mind when I think about my dental experiences with Dr. Estafan is his extraordinary gently manner. For those who dread going to the dentist (like myself), Dr. Estafan makes it as pleasant as it can be. He is also very personable and you get the impression that you are being treated by someone who actually cares about your bell-being and not just a $ sign.
Dr. Estafan's professionalism is seamless and, insofar as the general dentistry that I've undergone, I can say that I have no doubt as to his competence.
With regard to cost, I can say, similar to one of the previous reviewers, that I do not have dental insurance, so any visit to the dentist is expensive as it's coming straight out of my own pocket. Although I don't have a huge basis for a cost comparison, I'm pretty sure that Dr. Estafan's prices are fair.

Dr. Estafan is a great dentist. I found this site looking to leave a bad review for a dentist that took out my wisdom teeth and felt I should leave a good review for a dentist who deserved one (bad guy didn't put himself on here).
In comparison with other dentists, here are some points:
When he gives novicane, he first puts on topical ointment , then waits, then gives a little with the needle, then waits, then takes the needle and finishes the whole dose. He is hands down the gentlest dentist I ever dealt with and it really results in a relaxing and enjoyable visit .
He is very competent, gives all the options, and discloses all costs upfront. Besides his technical abilities, he is just a nice person and makes me feel comortable--something I need b/c I do not like "the dentist."
The only negative comment was cost, but I don't have dental insurance so I have always thought dentists were expensive.
Also, I like the office, in a house, it is very homey, yet the chair and the room look brand new and are totally updated--cleaner and nicer than I have experienced in the city.
I hope this helps others pick a dentist. Dr. Estafan is great, gentle, comforting, competent, and I would recommend to anyone.

Dear Dr. Estafan -
I hope this note finds you well. More time has passed than I would have liked since last I saw you, but I have long intended to write.
Let me once again express heartfelt gratitude for the generosity you showed me. Every time I look in the mirror, every time I'm on a job interview or out with someone and find myself speaking or laughing, I am reminded of what you did. I don't have to be so self-conscious anymore. My teeth don't hurt anymore. Were it not for your kindness and excellent work, these things would still trouble me greatly.
Of acts of kindness, the Prophet Muhammad said, "He who helpeth his fellow-creature in the hour of need, and he who helpeth the oppressed, him will God help in the Day of Travail."
In my opinion, what you did for me is probably not an isolated occurence in your professional or personal lives. But make no mistake: such acts are rare, making them all the more praiseworthy.
I wish you the greatest continued success in your practice, and much happiness in your life.
