Long long waits in his office, did not do what he promised to do, very painful procedures, never finished my case, my appliance over the faulty implants still fall out as they were never cemented in place. He was nasty, agressive, rude and impatient. He treated all of his patients like cattle. I regret the day I ever met this man.

Got the job done at a reasonable cost and seemed to really know what he was doing. His chair side manner could be a little better though. Front office was very pleasant to deal with.

I agreed to two ten-tooth implanted bridges, up and down. Implant surgery was done in 2 parts. In both cases 15-20 shots of novacaine was given with no numbing cream applied. This gave a throbbing headache which lasted through the whole procedures. In positioning the implants panaramic xray was never referred to. No precision measuring equipment was used to calibrate the depth of each drilling of the jaws bones, thus Kay drilled 2 holes into my sinuses. On one side this left a hole such that air/food flowed into my sinus and nose. One the other side Kay left an implant which was forced up into my sinus as the gum healed. The implant lodged in my sinus undetected until I saw a different Dr to heal the now dime-sized hole on the other side. The implant in my sinus had to be surgically removed. No xrays were taken during or after surgeries thus there is no uniformity of height or spacing. Oblivious to my wishes Kay set implants for 2 14 tooth bridges, and now I am told I'll have to live with that. Surgery began Oct, 05> 10 mos. later neither bridge has been built and 2 failed implants must be redone, involving 6 more mos. Of those that did not fail on the upper most protrude out the sides of my gum, not at the crest as they should

Dr. Kay, operates like a puppy mill, no concern for his patiant or office staff. he will over book appointment & a normal wait time is about 2 hours. That's the good news! The bad news is that he has over 11 malpractis cases as of 5/15/06 pending, I don't know how many he had in the past but I asure you there were many. My personal experience was that the two inplant never took & the one that did has to be removed, a $3500 job is now going to cost me $16,000. Take my word for it, if Dr. Kay did the work for $0 it's still not worth it.....

I made an appointment to get a full-mouth xray for pre-estimate on dental implant. I was told during the setting up of the appointment for the schedule date that they should be able to get the xray at 9:30am and Dr. Kay will see me as soon as he arrives. Got there at 9:15 am, waited for an hour before asking me to seat on the dental chair. Left me there. I left after waited for another 20 minutes because I have to go to work.
Very disappointed.
