Crown procedures questionable...began filing down good tooth to make crown fit. Asked for procelain crown, recently found out from new dentist metal based crown was implanted.

My first impression of Dr. Han was he is a very nice and soft spoken guy. However, be on the lookout of him pushing for dental crown. I went in for cavity repair, and he recommended for dental crown. While I said I need some time to consider, during the procedure to do the fillings, he started shaving part of the tooth structure. Now, I have no choice but to do the dental crown, because the gap between the teeth has gotten so wide that food always trapped in between. I will probably not go back to him as I do not believe he has my best interest in mind. I'll be looking for another dentist to do the crown. Hope this post will help some of you.
