We went to see Kesler on a "free consult" , he offered options for replacing a missing tooth and crown.. We went back in to see him to get pricing on the option we selected, only to find out he was not giving out any pricing, only adding confusion with possible gum surgery needed. Recommended third meeting with gum specialist, also with practice, I have come to find out. No mention of cost was ever provided for any visits. In the end just for a 15 minute 2nd visit to get pricing, we were told he needed molds and charged 164.00 for visit and 140.00 for a mold. This pricing is out of the norm for AMA standards. Eventually when pressed he quoted us over 4500 dollars for this procedure. This was totally out of line not including gum surgery consult and that cost. We selected another dentist went in for 1 visit got a price 1/5 of that and job was completed in a 30 min session on the 2nd visit. The result is fantastic. I would not recommend Kessler to anyone, be warned.

The service is very bad. There is no follow through from the staff. Go some where else and do not waste your mone with them.

About Front Desk: who is that, not around

Just had a routine cleaning & exam. The atmosphere of this office & staff is quite unfriendly, not what you'd hope for in visiting a dentist’s office. It was my first visit, yet Dr. Kessler spent minimal time with me, blowing in and out of the room in about 5 minutes, and made virtually no eye contact. It was so noticeably strange that he spoke without looking at me that I had to comment on it. Was also difficult to get a set of the electronic X-rays that were taken. Though I had already paid for them and everything these days is digital, they wanted to charge an additional $15 "processing fee" to email them to me. The office staff member who emailed back and forth did not sign any name, just signed it Axler-Kessler Dental. I don't know about you, but I don't wish to go to a dentist where the front office staff won’t tell you their name. I would never recommend them.

About Hygienist: I would give the dental hygienist, Lori, 4 stars. She was very thorough, and really took pride in doing her job well. She explained what she was doing as she went.

Dr. Kessler is very friendly and has a good bed side manner. His injections are painless. He even called me to see how I was doing after a procedure

Dr. Kessler is a good dentist and quite particular. Does not fill cavaties unless they need to be and treats them to stop any additional growth. Very clean environment. TVs in every room. Pleasant hygenists.
