STAY AWAY. When I went to this dentist they gave me a nice LONG list of everything that was "wrong". It was a ton of $$ they wanted me to spend. Silly me, I believed them but I wondered why my other dentist had never mentioned anything as I go every 6 months. I had a few things done in April. I switched dentists again as I just felt something was off with them. Long & behold the new dentist confirmed there was NOTHING wrong with my teeth & he had no idea why this place made such a long list of things to fix. This place fabricated a list of items to fix to get $$. On top of it, I had paid a few thousand dollars back in April for the things I did get done. Then out of the blue SEVEN months later, I get a bill from them. I was like WHAT? I called & they gave me a list of excuses (i.e. software problems, staff was out, etc.) & explained they were giving me an interest free loan for 7 months & I should be grateful. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Of course there is nothing I can do about this & I have to pay it immediately otherwise they will ding my credit even though they took SEVEN months to bill me some mysterious left over balance. Stay away - they will fabricate things to work on & bill you mysteriously several months later.

Dr. Hooty Alayan is great! I hate hate hate going to the dentist! His staff is super sweet, understanding and welcoming. I was ashamed of how bad my teeth and gums looked and avoided dentists for a long time, he was non-judgemental and he educated me. He helped me comfortable. Not too often do you find a great dentist that also has a great staff. Thanks guys!

Dr Hootie did a fantastic job on MY teeth, but beware the bill! He suggested doing much more than was actually warranted on my teeth after an accident based on my insurance settlement. When insurance payment came in, he refused to accept it as final and now has tried to ruin my credit over it.
Furthermore, he used Lumineers on my husband that look awful. We have complained they are too BIG/LONG and simply ignored our requests to "shaped them" or shorten them. We are completely dissatisfied with their work with the lumineers and their business practices leave much to be desired.

AMAZING!!!!!!!After doing much research on finding the most experienced dentist in the Austin area that specialized in porcelain veneers, I came across Great Oaks Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. I had a front tooth veneer put on at the advice of my prior dentist which was a huge mistake. It didn’t match that great and I have wished that I had just continued with the bonding I had always done to cover a small discolored portion of my tooth. Anyway, the damage was done and when the veneer cracked (devastating) I did massive research and came across Dr. Hooty Alyan DDS, LVIG, FAGD, FICOI who saved my smile and matched my tooth perfectly to the rest of my mouth. He could have tried to sell me two front veneers but rather than take the easy route he worked his magic and made it work. You can’t even tell and I get compliments on my smile (again).
He also did a crown and it was painless and fast since he has an in-office lab. Also, they use digital X-rays which were a first for me and a lot more enjoyable then ones then I had in the past.
About Hygienist: It is truly a beautiful dental office/spa. When you walk you in friendly (no joke) and helpful. So nice! The dental assistants/hygienist are very funny since I am a horrible dental patient; they made me laugh and gave me blankets and ear phones!

My family and I have been seeing Dr Alayan for three years and I have to say that the experience I have had there has been the best experience I've ever had with a Dentist. The office is beautiful as well as comfortable. All of the staff are very friendly. I always feel like I am family when I am there for my appointments. We all have a beautiful healthy mouth and for the first time ever, I feel good about my teeth! I have not felt discomfort or pain during any of the treatments I have received. They go out of their way to make you comfortable and I would recommend Dr Alayan to anyone
About Hygienist: Dr Alayan does his own cleanings, which I think is awesome and sets him apart from any other dentist I have been to before

Full mouth reconstruction,,,,Por Veneers. 99% Painless. Very good dentist and staff,,,,all have treated me like friend and i fell same for them. I had every tooth crowned and only had trouble with one two years later and DR Hooty fixed it asap at no charge !!! If you seek a life changing smile,,then make the investment and give them a call,,you will be sooo happy you did.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Alayan and his staff!! My family relocated to TX a year ago. The thought of searching for a new dentist wasn't appealing. Luckily our research revealed that Dr. Alayan has the professional experience and education background we were looking for. To our surprise, the service provided surpassed our expectations. It is a challenge to find a great dentist that at the same time provide excellent service. Normally is one or the other. We strongly recommend this practice. Great service, great staff and something that called my attention about office hours was what Amanda said "your urgency is ours and we will be here when you need us".

Dr. Alayan and his staff are wonderful!! My husband and I orginally saw him for a cleaning and whitening. In the last year, I had an accident and chipped several teeth. I met with Dr. "Hootie" :) and he recommended full vaneers. I had everything done in a little more than a month.
I have never been happier and my teeth are complimented on often! In fact, my teeth looked so great, my husband went in for lumineers too! Dr. Alayan is a sweetheart and his staff is incredible to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
