For the intial consutlation I waited for 2 hours to see the dentist. For the actual root canal I waited for 2 hours to get out of the waiting room and into a dentists chair. It was another hour until the dentist got started. He worked for 30 minutes until he stopped and told me that I had to come back the next day to finish the root canal. It was 4:30pm. I came at 8:00am the next morning and waited until 9:00 for the dentist to arrive.(my appointment was for 8:00am) He worked on me and two other patients simultaniously until he finally finished at 11:00am. He misjuded the amount of novocaine to give me 4 times the first day and twice the second. When he completed the root canal he didn't say anything he just walked off. I had to flag someone down to find out I was finished. The temporary cover that he put over the root canal fell off the next day. I went to a different dentist to get it fixed. This guy was awesome but he's not in my network. Anyways, he said that doctor Goodman did a good job on the root canal. So, if you don't mind his trial and error approach to novocaine and you enjoy sitting in waitning rooms then this might be the dentist for you

Dr Goodman's office was clean, well lit, and very well staffed. He was able to see me on short notice and was able to help fit in with my unfortunately busy schedule. The staff were very well versed in insurance information and able to answer all of my questions and inform me of what my coverage allowed. During the actual exam, Dr Goodman was efficient and friendly. I had come in for a checkup and a cleaning and both were performed effortlessly. The checkup was thorough, identifying several VERY small cavities, and the cleaning was surprisingly painless (I remember the cleanings of my youth being MUCH more painful). In terms of cost, my insurance covered all of the cleaning and the checkup. I didn't receive a bill from either Dr Goodman's office nor from my insurance company. When I did finally attempt to return for the cavity fillings, my insurance plan had changed and had unfortunately become one of the very few that Dr Goodman's office no longer accepts. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Dr Goodman's office. While it is nothing to look at from its storefront entrance on Washington Ave, the staff and care are top notch.
