Dr. Ghim has been taking care of my family for over 3 years. All the visits have pleasant. Treatments are always done on time and there is never a wait there. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ghim is a trustworthy dentist. His new office is close to the old office at Blakeney Dental, where he no longer practices. He performs excellent dental work. My family, and friends that I've referred have not had any negative dental experiences with Dr. Ghim, and we have been patients for the past 4 years. He put veneers on my wife's front teeth-they look so natural and have held up well over the years-no problems! He is very knowledgeable, has a lot of experience, and explains things very well. We will definitive go to see him at the new place!

Dr Steve Ghim was great. I felt very comfortable trusting having my veneers done from him. His work is impeccable and detailed. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I saw this dentist one time on 7/29/10 and will never return! Since that time, I've tried to get a copy of my xrays to give to my regular dentist (I drive 1.5 hrs to see my dentist of 5 years) but have been unable to receive them from Donna at Blakeney Dental where Ghim is located.
I would rather drive the 1.5 hours back to where I moved from to see my wonderful dentist in Greenville, SC...than walk across the street to see Ghim. He is the worst dentist I've ever met. He asks you a dozen back to back questions without even taking a breath...not even allowing you to respond. He makes you feel unwelcome and obviously hasn't any desire to acquire new patients. He is in a rush to get you out the door and out of his way! Not very personable!
Take heed when considering this dentist!!
About Hygienist: I went there for a simple dental cleaning, which I normal don't mind and actually enjoy at my dentist's office in Greenville; however, at Blakeney Dental it was the most uncomfortable, messiest, painful experience I've ever had with a cleaning! The staff is extremely young and inexperienced!

Dr. Ghim didn't explain future procedures that ended up costing me a exhorbitant amount. His staff did NOT perform due diligence with my costs and coverage before scheduling and performing work on me.

Worst dentist I ever had.. takes no time..I had to come back for bad bite after a filling was in pain for months ..finally received do over of filling was even worse..moved back to my original dentist. Office staff over worked and touchy no response to bill questions sent in writing..often receive voicemail instead of live attendant..

Dr . Ghim was a fantastic dentist. I would have rated 4 stars on everything except that the facility he was associated with at the time was very poor which was Family Dentistry, 5970 Fairview Rd., Suite 12, Charlotte, NC 28210. He has since moved to a better facility in the Lake Norman/Davidson area. He would be worth locating. He really cares that his work is perfect and sends back inferior labwork if HE is not satisfied with the look or the fit.
