This dentist tried to charge my insurance for work that had not been performed. When the bill came through my insurance and i told them to credit back because the work was never done, they said, "Oops.." and had it credited back.
He also said I had ten cavities that needed to be taken care of. When I questioned him and let him know the dentist a few months prior said I had one, his response was, "we'll, they're little and we should take care of them before they get too big."
These should've been tell tale signs to run, they're just trying to make a buck... But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.
When some fillings were actually done, they were poor quality and I was in pain! I actually went back to fix them and it was redone just as bad! Heres the kicker though... One of the fillings fell out a few weeks later! Ooooh so much pain! It was so exposed even air hitting it hurt! Now who wants to go back a 3rd time to fix poor work?
About Hygienist: In my opinion the Hygienist didn't seem to do that good of a job..and it was further reinforced by the new dentist office asking me how long has it been since I got a cleaning because it looked like it had been a long long time.

I've been a customer of Dr. Isola's for many years. It's about time I spoke. GET SOME NEW READING MATERIAL!!! Seriously though, these people are wonderful! Most important, the work is phenomenal. Ralph & his staff are always courteous with an upbeat attitude. Fully informative, transparent & professional. Here's a twist,-I actually look forward to my visits. Highly recommended. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Dr Isola is a great dentist!!! He is very easy going and listens very carefully to all concerns. His staff is also wonderful to deal with.

I am lucky to have employer-sponsored dental plan that allows me to see Dr. Isola. Dr. Isola's office management takes full advantage of the dental insurance to get me the necessary treatments and cleanings to ensure my teeth's help. His prices are reasonable and I have not been overbilled in the 10 years I've seen him. I reconcile my dental insurance statements with the billing statements I receive from Dr. Isola's practice.
The staff is very caring and responsive to your needs. Dr. I actually takes the time to analyze and discuss potential problems, solutions and outcomes. He gives you the worse, best and middle scenarios before performing any procedures.
Dr. I and his staff are the consummate professionals. I never hesitate to recommend him to anyone who professes tooth problems or dissatisfaction with their current dentist/hygienist.
About Hygienist: The hygienists at Dr. I's practice are thoroughly vetted about the patients they are to work on. In 10 years, I think I've only been unsatisfied with one or two hygienists. They are not working for him anymore.

I've been a long time client of this dentist and have been generally happy with their service. However, after the last two visits, I've received unpleasant bill surprises. The first time was for a couple of fillings that for which I was billed more than double their written cost estimate after insurance reimbusement. I just received the insurance statement after the most recent visit. Apparently they did a $100 flouride treatment on my teeth that insurance won't cover. This was an unrequested procedure and this is the first time they've ever done this. I was not given an estimate of the cost and would never have approved it if I was told it would not be covered by insurance. Be careful with this dentist.
