Read Reviews for Dr. William Ginzburg
The receptionists have always been LESS than welcoming/RUDE with a FEW exceptions throughout the years. Dr. Ginzburg is a PHANTOM these days! I scheduled an appt with him, was kept waiting one hour (no apology) only to find out that he doesn't work on Friday! I wanted to verify that deep cleaning was needed, as suggested by hygienist. I was told that the deep cleaning would be $300 and done by the hygienist. VERY strange because when I went to a periodontist in the same HMO, all was covered with NO copay and is only done by a doctor! After going to this office for 15 years 3X a year, having X-rays every year/ every other year, nothing was told to me about needing work until the deep cleaning was mentioned in Sept. I now have had deep cleaning, oral surgery and have another next week to fix what this FACTORY did not notice. The only treatment diagnosed in all of these years was to change a filling (which I had done back East) and once a RANDOM dentist showed up after a cleaning, to tell me that I immediately needed impressions that day and have mouth guards made because I for surely was grinding my teeth and probably had TMJ! NONE of this was true (or covered ) as I had just had the filling done weeks before with our family dr
About Hygienist: The first hygenist there was offensive, I switched to another and when she left, her replacement was also wonderful. This was the only reason I put up with continuing to remain at this practice!! Now, I so wish that I hadn't!

They used fear tactics to try to scare me into unnecessary procedures. Not only was I overcharged they added a crown and totally missed my cavity. I ended up getting a root canal, and drilling right through my expensive new crown. The staff was insistent, rude, and ignorant.

The last 5 years has been horrible. The front desk staff at the Marina Dental Center is rude and unprofessional. Appointments are very long. Expect to spend 3 hours per visit. It took three visits over a three month period for the lab to color match my crown to my teeth and it still wasn't perfect, I just delt with it because I was tired of the whole ordeal.

Note the address is wrong here, it is actually 3130 South Sepulveda in L.A. near Sepulveda and National.
My wife and I both had work done with this guy. He screwed up both of our teeth. My wife had a bridge done which dentists thereafter told us was horribly made and badly fit.
My wife went to him later with severe pain and he said he could not find the problem, told her to go away and take ibuprofen. One day later she was in so much pain she couldn't stand it, and he was not open so we found an open dentist who told her it was clear she needed a root canal and he should have seen that in the xrays.
