I have been a client with Dr. Forrest Duan for the last 7 years, my last procedure was for a replacement crown on the lower molar tooth. When I had it done I thought all went well but that evening i found something was not right and when I went to look in the mirror there was a cut my perfectly good crown that was next to the crown he was working on to replace. He had cut into a perfectly good crown by mistake!
He gave no apologies but corrected his mistake and did a replacement crown.
Foward 4 years later that same crown had tooth decay underneath it. I mention to Dr. Duan shouldn`t crown last longer than 4 years because I have older crowns that are 10 to 20 years with no problems.
I mention to him that he should give some discount for the work that he botched up but he didn`t want to and said that because i didn`t see him the last 4 years it was not his responsibilty.
I went an got a second opionion from a well know dentist and I brought along my recent x-rays she said I didn`t need to have any of the cavities to be fill which Dr. Duan wanted to do which led me to believe he was generating unncessary work!
I am now in the process of having a tooth implant to fix that crown with my new dentist.

I was referred to Dr. Duan by my friends. They told me that Dr. Duan is professional and charges a reasonable price. In general, my experience with Dr. Duan was "as expected"

I have been a patient of Dr. Duan for about 4 years. I got my two wisdom teeth extracted by him. One of them was considered as a hard task because it was growing towards its neighbor tooth, and actually touched it. I was worried about the extraction and was so scared before the procedure. I thought it will take a long time and will be very painful. However, the extraction procedure by Dr. Duan went very well, and I did not feel pain at all. So, with that nice experience, I visited his office again and get another wisdom tooth extracted.

Dr Duan is a very nice person. I spent an hour talking to him, asking a bunch of questions, when I first visited him. And he really took the time to answer all my question. I had several fillings with him already. Everything seems well. His checkup *seems* more thorough than other dentist I've visited.
The only complain I have is about his relatively higher cost, because supposedly he's a specialist, and therefore can claim higher prices from you and your insurance.
