Dr. Robert Barr in San Jose is an exceptional dentist!--that is the reason why I travel over an hour from the East Bay to San Jose for all my dental work. Of course Dr. Barr is a mercury-free dentist using all the appropriate protective gear, but he is also a master of laser dentistry, which means, in part, that more of the tooth can be saved. His office has all of the cutting edge equipment and he and his staff are not only very well trained in using this remarkable new technology but Dr. Barr also travels world wide teaching others. Even though Dr. Barr is world-renown in his field, he is an amazingly personable, gentle and compassionate dentist with a good sense of humor. The staff is also friendly and efficient and the office is very comfortable with easy freeway access.
My husband and I are both almost finished getting all of our decrepit mercury fillings and crowns replaced with composite and are very happy with our results. (No more multiple office visits for crowns either!!!--the doctor computer-designs it and the machine makes it immediately!) An added bonus is that Dr. Barr's office accepts Delta Dental Insurance (as well as other plans), making it much more affordable. We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Robert Barr
