Read Reviews for Dr. Charles Pick
Do not consider Dr. Pick as your dentist. Dr. Pick's work has been an ongoing event of negligent dentistry and subsequent repair. What began with two fillings in one tooth (due to decay below the initial filling) led to a botched root canal by Dr. Pick, a second procedure performed by an endodontist, eventual loss of the tooth and two separate bone graft procedures to repair my jawbone after years of infection underneath the tooth. In addition, I've had another root canal, three crowns, and most fillings replaced by another dentist. Eight years later, my mouth is finally decay-free after tens of thousands of dollars spent repairing Dr. Pick's work. I do not think he is practicing dentistry currently, but if so I would highly recommend seeing any other dentist.

This dentist performed work on me (on two teeth one visit )that I had said I did not want done. I thought I was getting fillings but instead he did pulpotomy on both teeth.I did not know what was done until I paid. A terrible experience. These teeth never hurt or were bothersome in any way prior to my visit with Dr. Pick. Since my visit they are black, painful, and feel loose.
Dr. Pick was unclear in his communication and did not obtain my informed consent for the procedures he performed.

My husband and I both went to Dr. Pick for 5 years. We recently moved to Phx and got a new dentist. We discovered that Dr. Pick did a horrible job filling our cavities; many of which were put in so poorly that there was bacteria and further decay underneath. I had a crown done by Dr. Pick 4 years ago that has always caused me a lot of pain. I just learned by our new dentist that it's because it wasn't put on right and is decaying underneath. In addition, Dr. Pick told me I had mild gum disease 4 years ago, but it was never addressed after that... As a dentist, he should have stayed on top of the problem. We spent lots of money at Dr. Pick's office, but we now have to pay to have much of his work redone!

After visiting several dentists, I've finally found one who is honest and won't recommend unnecessary work: Dr. Charles Pick.
Front office staff is always efficient and helpful, but not always the friendliest. But I'm not going there to find a friend. Still kinda surprising... Small price to pay for the quality and integrity of practice.
About Hygienist: Donna is welcoming, friendly and always does a thorough cleaning.
