Dr. Bornstein is skilled but is conservative in terms of doing minimal work in order to save a tooth. The worst thing he did with me was to continue to try to save a tooth that he suspected was cracked. For that one tooth I went through 1) a temporary cap, 2) a root canal with a temporary cap, 3) a permanent cap with temporary adhesive which caused the tooth to crack worse when it was removed, and ultimately 4) an extraction, which should have been step 1. I went to another doctor for a dental implant. He made good money on all these procedures, though.

Dr. Bornstein is very cutting edge on all the latest technologies. In addition to practicing dentistry, he is also an inventor of laser dental/gum instruments for dentistry. Immaculate facilities. He did several of my crowns, 10 years ago, that are still holding very well.
Responsive when I had a wisdom tooth pulled many years ago, and called immediately from his home for additional advice, when I left a message on the machine.
Business was taken over from his father's highly reputable business.
