Read Reviews for Dr. Donald Peterson
The front staff is amazing but most of the work that dr. Peterson did over the course of four years has had to be reworked on all four of my family members.
I could have done without hearing things about his sex life and inappropriate connotation that came with it when he was speaking to the dental assistant.
In 2013 my card was over rung by $680.13. It has taken several trips to both the woodlands office and the office on 1960 in addition to calls to their central processing Manager Colleen. I was finally told that I would receive the payment after about 6 weeks. That time has come and gone.
Full details are in the complaints filed/being filed with the Better Business Bureau and the American Dental Association.

They are crooks I took my 10 yrs old daughter to fix a chipped tooth and they wanted to pullout the tooth and replace it for $800.But her primary dentist (who was out of town & that is why we went to champions) told us not to have any tooth removed before she turns 14 yrs old, as she still had baby teeth. After giving them that info, they tried to convince me otherwise.I stood my grounds and said that I only wanted the chip fixed. They left the room and said that they were not going to fix the tooth. On our way out I saw the Dr and pleaded with him not to let my girl go back to school with that chipped tooth as she was being teased at school.
Only then he accepted to fix the tooth for $88 (it was supposed to be entirely covered by my insurance ) I paid and my baby got her smile back after battling those sharks.
PS : I would like to mention that money was never the problem but I was not going to let my baby go trough a painful tooth removal by a new dentist to us rather than follow the recommendations of her primary dentist who has known her since she was 5 yrs old.

I went in for a normal filling and I came out with a terrible root canal. He broke my tooth, didn't give me enough numbing treatment (so I felt majority of the root canal) and then he forgot to make the crown as requested. I am 21 years old and I never should have had a root canal. His assistants were joking with each other and him the whole I was receiving treatment and not focusing on the root canal I was undergoing.
I also had other cavities filled at that appt. and I found out later that those were also done faulty and now I must get those fixed. My family and I are trying to get our money back because he was so incompetent and completely screwed up my teeth.

I had an appointment last week for a filling, first I was called to remind me of appointment and was called wrong name and told a different location. Second upon arrival I was taken back to and they started cleaning my teeth? I pointed out that I was here for a filling and sent back to waiting room. Third Dr. Peterson took new x-rays and wanted to post pone my filling to another appointment. I informed him I was there for a filling and he proceeded to do filling after a 2.5 hour wait. While numbing my mouth he began talking about very inappropriate things such as his testicles. I was very uncomfortable and if it wasn't for my tooth ache I would have left. I do not plan on returning to this office again.

I had a broken tooth and went to Champions Dental for treatment. Dr. Peterson pulled my broken tooth and proceeded to have a flexite made for me without explaining to me of other options, Turned out that the flexite cost me $1,720.00 plus six office visits $8.00 each. A total $1768.00 for a single broken tooth. My discount plan which I submitted and accepted at the initial visit would have me pay for the services at $950.00 but he charged me $1,720.00 plus $8.00 for six visits, that's a grand total $1,768.00. The sad part is that the flexite never fit, I had to go back 6 times and he had to make it over 2 or 3 times. I still cannot eat with it on nor can I chew over it. (What an expensive piece of junk! ) I requested for refund for the flexite, he refused to do that. Last option I have of course is taking him to court and Let him explain to the Judge why he should not refund me for the flexite which is unfit and useless to me.

The staff & the doctor are upbeat & sympathetic to the pateint's plight. Finding the procedural options for the price was proactive without my prior encouragement, and all of the staff seem to be on the same page with scheduling, discount plans, pricing. I am not so anxious compared to previous dental offices. The doctor has a very humane touch, not rough. I do not even ask for gas - a first for me....ever.

Dr. Peterson is in practice with Dr. Anita Berry-Brown. He is quite pleasant and personable and seems very knowledgeable. His staff is pleasant and efficient, much better than any other dentist office that I have visited in this area. There was a bit of a wait, but pretty much what was expected. The dental hygienist was thorough and fun. Overall, the visit was a good experience for me and my family members and we plan to continue seeing these doctors.
