Dr. Shelton makes a patient feel comfortable and is always to the point. He always answered all my questions clearly(and I have had many of them). He works very well with his assistant Angie. I would have stayed with him but I found out that he wasn't in my insurance network.

For the past 5 years, I have had routine cleanings and care. Now recently, he wants to do some extractions and cosmetics. I received a second opinion and found that neither of them were needed.

He sealed my daughter's back molars. 2 of the molars had cavities in them and she ended up needing root canals and a crown on 1 of them. I found this out after changing to a new dentist who assured me that the cavities had to have been there prior to being sealed.
He also did a very expensive onlay on one of my molars that the new dentist removed because it had failed. She was able to do a simple filling and said that the onlay was not even necessary.

Overall good. Dr. Shelton is very matter of fact, with little chit chat or 'destressing' talk, which is good for certain personalities. He always seemed to be stingy with novocaine... only giving little bits at a time until the complaints of pain stopped
