Provides thorough, caring dental treatment. Have had everything from complex dental surgery to simple fillings. He and his staff are top notch...best dental treatment in St. Louis.
Pain is kept to a minimum, new facilities and equipment. Cost is average for St. Louis. Would recommend Dr. Jines wholeheartedly

My wife needed an emergency bite guard. Dr and staff met with her that day and even volunteered to take impression in parking lot if need be! Wonderful staff! Highly recommend

Dr. Jines has filled cavities for me, performed two root canals, and put in two or three crowns. All have been successful. One crown came off after about a year and Dr. Jines immediately re-set it at no cost. It's been fine ever since.
Several years ago went to another dentist because of insurance changes. He said I needed a root canal because he couldn't numb my mouth enough to work on it. I waited and went back to Dr. Jines. He asked me three questions and said I didn't need a root canal. He gave me shots that quickly numbed the affected area, drilled, filled, and the tooth has been fine ever since.
The office staff is excellent and gave me a month to pay my deductible once . I don't have my bills handy, but my insurance has always covered all or most of the cost, even when I was with an HMO.
I've sent three friends to Dr. Jines who later thanked me profusely (for a dentist, imagine that). He is involved in research and excited about the field of dental medicine. When I first went to him, I thought he was a bit of an arrogant-know-it-all. By the second visit I realized that he does know, well surely not all, but far closer than most dentists. He shares information freely and I like that.
Oh, and he does have an M.D
About Hygienist: I have seen several hygienists at his office over the years. They have all been good to excellent, mostly excellent. The are thorough and efficient. Dr. Jines checks their work and looks over my teeth every time.

I started going to Dr Jines in 1999. He was pretty good. He was very knowledgeable. I think that he is an MD as well as DDS. I reminded me of a charismatic televangelist preaching on flossing and brushing. He really seems to believe in what he is doing and made me feel comfortable with him. I really don't know how to compare costs with other dentists as he is the only one i have paid for, but I will say that It was not easy on my pocketbook. Unfortunately I do not have frame of reference with other dentist bills.
