Jim is a awesome dentist and will save your teeth the best he can if you dont have the finances right away and isnt afraid to numb you up! He will let you know the best treatment plan for healthy teeth. Hes a quiet guy but I love him and is straight forward! About whats best for your dental needs.

Unfortunately for Dr. Salerno, the office staff at this practice are the real reason for why I'm writing this. He's not the warmest guy on the block, per se, while being treated by him. But he does describe everything he's doing and is going to do prior to doing it at the time of the procedure. I found that comforting and didn't mind his overall lack of bedside manor at all.
One time though, Dr. Salerno had to go on an emergency in the middle of my procedure. He left his assistant to finish putting in a temporary filling until I got my crown done. First she dropped the filling after trying to grind it down for a good fit, and then when she glued it in I could tell it wasn't going to stay. So I asked her to use the other, more adhesive kind. She said she'd call Salerno and ask him. She didn't do that at all; she walked out, and then back in and said he said it would be fine the way it was. The filling came out the next day.
BUT-this office is NOT competent at all. I was quoted one total for a crown that I would be having done, and then at the time of payment they quoted me a different total, and didn't even remember talking to me about it! I also got billed for a total that was already payed because of lost records.
About Hygienist: She's really nice and does a fine job.

Dr. Salerno is a very good dentist. I have had crowns, fillings and cosmetics done there. He is very pleasant and very nice. He cares about his patients. He has always done a great job.
About Hygienist: I love Lori and she is very good at her job. Love you too Jan. All the girls in the office are friendly.

Dr. Salerno was very rude. He didn't really speak to me at all. After his hygenist was done cleaning my teeth he came and glanced in my mouth for no more than about 10 seconds (no exageration). I did not feel that he was anywhere close to being thorough about checking my teeth. He had no advice or comments for me. The staff at the clinic are also very rude. I arrived early, but the time for my appointment came and went and I was made to wait even though the hygenist who was going to clean my teeth was standing in plain view chatting with the receptionist about non-work-related things. Once she started cleaning my teeth, the hygenist was not gentle at all, often she would miss my teeth with the little metal pick and slice my gums with it. She also skipped over a couple teeth during the cleaning and never cleaned them.
