Don't walk, run from this dentist.
Every visit to his office I had there was someone there arguing about their bill. He yelled at one old man, I will see you in court as he walked down the hall.
He did 2 caps & a root canal for me, both caps I have had to replace. The first cap I had to pay full price for when I had to replace it, my insurance wouldn't cover it because it was under 2 years old.
I am now getting ready to replace the second cap that has slowing been slipping off my tooth for the last 2 years.
He is an egomaniac, has no compassion, if it an emergency visit you need, forget it. He might have to baby sit his kids, you will just have to wait.

Dr. Swensen has a very clean facility and extremely modern practice. He embraces ultra-new technology, which I really appreciate and look for in a dentist. Unfortunately, despite all of the good, it is all ruined by his poor chair-side manners and that of some of his staff.
My wife and I both have had regular check ups as well as more advanced procedures with him, and each time he seems more into fraternizing with his staff like he's at a bar or something instead of paying attention to the treatment process. It's a disconcerting feeling, and it also comes across as disrespectful.
I don't mean for a dentist to be completely serious or anything like that, but Dr. Swensen just goes over the top in this area like no other dentist I've seen before or since--and I've cycled through probably two dozen dentists in my life.
Overall, the treatments seemed to work out okay--knock on wood--but the way he acts around his patients leaves a really bad taste in our mouth. It was so bad that we wanted to find another dentist, but he was so conveniently located for us at the time. We ended up moving, so now it's not an issue.

Cavity filling and teeth cleaning. Pays attention to patient comfort and well being. Does good work.

Very nice, funny dentist. He has a great bedside manner. Fortunately I didn't need any work done at this time but I'm sure I will in the future and I look forwars to having Dr. Swensen do it for me.
About Hygienist: Loved the x-ray technique there. Very efficient cleaning.

After all the horror stories I've heard, Dr. Swensen did my tooth implant and it was painless, fast and pleasant, yes, I just love him and his staff too. Don't waste your time trying to figure out where to go. He's the best!
